SPLATOON ART CONTEST!!!
I’m pretty new to the fandom but want to make friends and get the word out of my blog!
There will be two prizes, first place is a chibi full body like that, no background
second place is an Icon!
There will be a third place for my favorite design submitted that also gets an icon!
To enter you must reblog this with a picture of your character (Octoling or inkling or something similar) and be following me!
Rules:
No very complex designs
no nsfw
must have a picture, can be art or from in game
if you get first place you can ask for an icon instead if you want

I gotta stop making splatoon OCs but here we are!
This is slug, theyre a demiboy and gay!They work only at Grizzco as a high rank employee who does very tough jobs, behind the scenes work, and occasionally trains newbies. He also helps octolings who’ve just come to the surface and gets them set up with a place and a job. The places are usually not great but theyre somewhere to sleep. He also loans them money for food and such until theyre on their feet.
He owns a lot of pet sea slugs, sea bunnies, and sea cucumbers!
He’s very social and loves going out to eat and meeting people, but sometimes after a long week he will just wanna stay home and play video games. He’s also a bit of a flirt but gets super flustered when people flirt back.

Whinter expresses his worries to Clementine and tells her she can always be honest with him. And Clementine agrees. This is once again a bit personal page because I’ve been fortunate enough to be in a relationship where I can be honest with my partner and we can talk about anything. I still need to learn to not hide it when something is bothering me, but I’m getting better.
Anyway, the turf season is over. And Whinter and Clem and all these characters are ready for new adventures.
Two days later, Belladonna approaches the other captains and shows her desire to do better, too. Everyone is happy for her to be part of the gang. This doesn’t mean they’re magically gonna be best friends or everything is good between them. No, they will need a lot of work but they want to try and that is what is important. As cliche and jokey as this sounds, Marian might have won the turf league, but the true prize was friends we made along the way and they all are winners. Because when you get older, you realize what really matters and one of them is peace of mind.
Speaking of that. What a project this has been. Over 3-years ago I started working on Heroes of Inkopolis comic, out of pure love for this new series called Splatoon. And after that, the inklings, who were just called Orange and Blue at the time, have grown so much and given me so much. Good and bad.
When I got to this chapter, I was pretty much emotionally done with this series but I wanted to finish it and let these characters go with a happy ending they deserve. I worked on the story as I drew it and had to squeeze in a lot of stuff I had planned for later. It is an emotional mess, just like my feelings towards this series and community are. As I look at this final story, it came out way more personal than I anticipated. Lot of my frustration, stress and depression show in it. But, also things I’ve learned, optimism and hope for the better. While it’s true that splatoon hasn’t brought me much joy anymore and the second game didn’t manage to capture the magic first one had for me, I will always look back to the good things this series has brought me. As they out weight the bad by a lot.
I met and even had the pleasure of working with some really talented and great people I consider my mutuals. And even if we don’t talk as much as we used to, lot of respect and all the best towards you. You know who you are.
I’ve received ton of positive messages and love from you people. It means a lot you care about these silly things I do. And special thanks to those who believe in me so much, that they want to support me over patreon and help me to do what I love. My humblest thanks to you.
I created lot of art I’m really proud of and I still consider HOI as one of best comics I’ve ever made. It taught me a lot and it was just pure joy to make.
I created some of my favorite characters ever and this passion towards them has grown into my very own original series which I am super proud and eager to work on.
And of course, I found the person I love, thanks to this series. Thanks to this series and thanks to these characters I found someone. I’ve traveled to America thanks to this series. Thanks to all this, I’m looking forward to rest of my life with someone I love.
With this, Cafe Cardamari Tales are done. Well, there is at least one extra Arnick and Tetrox story I want to make and I will still draw splatoon related art, my own and commissions. There’s also lot of patreon exclusive splatoon art I’d love to show publicly. But the series has come to an end as far as I’m concerned. I thank you all who were here with me through this journey. Thank you~

Belladonna is quite emotional after these events (this is first time ever we see her tear up, after all) and accepts the apologizes in her own way. They are cool, but like Clementine earlier, she needs some time to herself to think about this. And so, Toxink leaves.

I’ve been on both side. I’ve had people not tell me when something was wrong and then when it’s too late act. But, more than that. I’m Marian. When something is bothering me, I often go silent and keep things inside me. Thus, this is a bit personal page.
Marian is able to open up tho and apologizes for not being honest with herself and Bella. Marian might not feel the same about her as she used to, be she would still want to be friends rather than enemies. Something Toxink did not expect! How will Bella answer?
