Top one is this years re-draw of the first art piece I did of 2017 (pictured at the bottom right/the digital piece) because its always cool to re-draw things and see how your style has changed or how things have improved or what you still need to work on :) Also I really miss Yuri on Ice

About 6 years ago I drew a little scribbly grumpy Gerard Way, and then 3 years ago I re-drew it, and then today I had an essay I needed to write so I drew this instead

It’s been 4 years since I drew the Sam on the left, and that drawing was actually the beginning of a year long battle with tendonitis
I decided to re-draw it to see not only how much I’ve improved but also how the focus of my art has changed, since 4 years ago I was SO CERTAIN that realism was the only way to go for me
Drawing on the left took 90 minutes, drawing on the right took 35 minutes

Every year for the past 3 years I’ve drawn my best friend and I as if we lived in an alternate reality where we were the stars of the TV show “Supernatural”, and now we continue with the 4th installment! Maybe one day we’ll change poses. The wonders of the future may never cease

So 3 years ago today I ruined my hand and coloured in a funny little drawing of Patrick Stump from my sketchbook and put it online. I’ve been hopelessly bad at drawing lately, so I figured it’d be fun to re-draw it
