Summer Solstice Yoga In Times Square / International Day of Yoga. June 21, 2015

Yoga has been one of the best things to ever present itself in my life. It has challenged me physically, mentally, spiritually, and it has shown me myself; it has helped me find peace in my life amidst the chaos, it has healed me, and it has revealed truth in my life. I have traveled across the ocean because of it and I have made incredible friends that I never thought I’d be able to have, and it has made me cherish and find gratitude for the friendships I had before it. Is everything perfect in my life? Hell no. But it is manageable now, and I have so much more joy and appreciation for all things, “good” or “bad”.
I am very thankful to be on this path. I am very grateful for this newfound love I have for life. Special thanks to my husband, family, friends, teachers and mentors, and of course, yoga—I don’t know where I’d be without the love, support, and encouragement from these incredibly important people and this practice in my life.
