Sometimes (a lot of times), your best will not be enough in the eyes of others. No matter how hard you try, prepare, or give, it’s not always “enough”. And that’s why it’s so important to remember that, at the end of the day, as long as you’re doing your best (and you’re not hurting others or anything crazy like that), then anyone else’s opinion doesn’t really matter. You are enough!! Just as you are. You don’t need approval.
I have struggled my whole life being scared of not being enough in others’ eyes and it is EXHAUSTING.
I’m reminding myself and you, my friends, to stop worrying about what other people think and do what you feel is important, especially if you’re following a dream or passion. Don’t listen to the haters. DONT BE A HATER. Support others. Encourage others to pursue happiness. The change begins with you. It begins with me.
It’s time to be love and to practice what you preach. It’s not easy. And that’s why we have to FORGIVE others when they are forgetting themselves. We all do it. So let’s all get off our high horses and realize that we’re all human beings. Be the change. Be love. Be light. Be joy. ✨

Day 4 an arm balance of your choice! I decided to do a variation of flying lizard. This asana really challenges me because it forces me to engage bandhas, activate resistance away from gravity and the earth, and extend a lot of energy out the back leg to support the forward motion & weight. can’t wait to see what everyone else does! #sunsoutyogisout

@dsharrington7 and I both agree, we’re pretty sad to leave Peru tonight. It’s been one amazing, life changing adventure and I can’t even believe it’s over. Seems like just yesterday I was so nervous about what this whole experience; what it was going to be like, not having one single clue about the culture, the people, or the places we’d be staying in. Now here we are, packing our bags and doing last minute things before we leave. I am forever grateful for Peru. For the lessons I have learned here that mostly involved self reflections toward my own life. I am forever changed. Thank you, Peru. Thank you, Pacha Mama. Thank you to all the friends we met along the path, you guys are part of our spiritual family and we couldn’t be more grateful for you.

Lima is such a diverse country! The culture here is incredible. If you’ve never been out of the country, go. Seriously. Go. Traveling is one of the best teachers because you’re learning from experience; you’re opening your eyes and your mind. You deal with yourself and reflect on how much you have that you really don’t need. You think about the things that are really just distractions in your life or serving yourself & not others. Through experience, you are doing yourself a favor by becoming your own teacher, and that can only happen through experience. You can’t gain it from looking at the computer or even reading a book. You must go & do it.
