Okay, this was interesting work with searching materials! Russia has rich culture and history. And I’m glad to share with you little piece of this.
I tried to found balance between identity of our nations and Inuyasha’s characters.
Kagome live in Tokyo, capital of the Japan, so I use Moscow 90s like the starting point.
Main plot of Inuyasha happen about XIV-XV century, in those times Moscow was ordinary Russian town, so I think the well could be outside of modern Moscow.
So, a lot of characters from Central Federal District, but Miroku and Sango could be come from distant regions.

Summary: Kagome and Inuyasha get to know each other. Inuyasha also learns of Kagome’s not so secret admirer.
Looking at the goofy, but cute selfie on her screen, Kagome couldn’t help but giggle. Inuyasha had sent her a picture of him and his adorable, fluffy dog, Ham, and she wondered if they were secretly related. Ham was shaped like a literal cloud, with the white hair to match and he had a crooked smile that seemed to resemble his owner’s. Saving the pic to her phone, she sent a quick text back and pocketed her cell.
