here’s a trace i did last night of a screencap from season 4. i used to be halfway decent at doodles, cartoons, and sketches, but it never really transferred over to digital art. i’ve had a wacom for years, but i mostly use it for photo editing. over the past year or so i’ve been trying to learn more about concept art. going to see if i have any better luck with cartoons. i thought a nice place to start might be tracing, so I can (hopefully) get familiar with the structure of some characters’ faces and how body postures work. with any luck, it’ll help translate to decent proportions and such when drawing more caricature/doodle versions. i guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
