Excuse me while I have one of those surreal moments when I realize that I’ve photographed my favorite band like 6 times now. Years ago, I was the shy high school girl that Mike and Vic let stand side-stage at Warped for no other reason than the fact that I loved the band. I was the girl that Vic brought onstage and sang “Yeah Boy and Doll Face” to while I basically couldn’t believe my luck. I was the fan that showed up at 8 AM to every show in my area to get the best spot possible, and sang my heart out at every show.

Four years later, I’ve photographed Warped Tour every year. I’ve shot every PTV tour since Collide With The Sky came out. I’ve had my work published in Alternative Press and other magazines around the world. I’ve had my photos featured in national ad campaigns for music companies, and yet even with all of this crazy success and luck that I’ve had, I can’t help but be absolutely floored and giddy every time I shoot PTV, even though I’ve done it quite a few times now.

I wish I had the words for how much this band means to me still though. Because I really don’t. I still tear up at their shows, and I still love their music.

If you go to a concert and you try and push your way to the front, you don’t deserve to be there! Accept the fact that you didn’t get VIP/wait long enough to get a better spot. Wherever you are in line is where you deserve to stay in the venue! My partner had multiple anxiety attacks, we watched a girl throw up and no one would let her through so she could get out. I had to leave second row and miss out watching the band I paid for because of this!
BE CONSIDERATE AT CONCERTS!

Anyone attending any of the three Pierce the Veil Melbourne shows listen up! Here’s all the info you need to know.

First of all, if you haven’t checked your email, check it. It should have basic information about VIP. If you haven’t gotten an email, ring the venue and they can tell you what you need to know OR you can just read this post. (I only know the VIP times for the show on the 20th so that’s why you need to check your email!)

(20th AUGUST VIP: Doors are open from 10am-10:50am. Arrive any later and you’ll be unable to meet the band.)

As soon as you arrive you get your VIP package and have early access to merchandise. After you get merchandise you line up to meet the band. After the meet and greet, you are able to cloak your bag and/or go straight to the floor. There are less than 100 people per meet and greet so you will be guaranteed an amazing spot.
