‘Naha morning never ends…’
2021

This has been such a fun print to create… using 5 of my original hand carved woodblocks from 1976, I have “recreated” Naha morning in a 2021 version. By adding three CNC routed blocks to the newly completed image, I have revised the sunrise in Naha, Okinawa. This process proved to be quite a technical challenge, as I had to register or match my computer drawn image to early hand carved blocks. I have never done this before in my 45 years of being a woodblock printmaker.
