Sickening and powerful and enthralling. I want more which, I suppose, is exactly what the narrator wants you to feel. An incredible little book, as the little books often are.

It used to surprise me that when slapped or hit a girl her first reaction would often be to want to kiss the hand that had hit her. Now I find it rather delightful.
