Happy World Book Day! But everyday is it.
Today I read The Gods of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
John Carter of Mars rides again! Because I am bored, so bored. God I’m so bored. Please send help. Or scorpions. Anything to break the tedium.
Anyway I think I might do more “classical” inspired art this summer because you get to draw mostly naked people.

For those unfamiliar - John Carter of Mars is famous for his super jumps, which always tickled me because the book came out in 1912, meaning the Edwardian literary community must have thought that a super jump was CRACKING good fun
