The Tallest Joshua Tree, Joshua Tree National Park, CA. Anyone recognize this 43-foot giant, fondly known as the Barber Pole, and estimated to be about 960 years old? This tree is considered the tallest in the park, and possibly in the world.

Looking up trails for Saguaro National Park and thinking back to Joshua Tree this April. This fall trip this will put me at 15 parks for 2018, in January I’ll be at 17 within a year, and total after January I’ll be up to 21 and over 1/3 of the way to all 60. #findyourpark #60nationalparks #joshuatree (at Joshua Tree, California)
