The Yugi forehead files. Mostly Amane/Hanako because Tsukasa only revealed his adorable forehead once.
Tsukasa is always in Sakura’s/his brother’s space and Hanako does the same with Nene. I feel like it isn’t only a gag because they’re 13 year old little b@stards, and more to do with them finally being able to make physical contact with someone for the first time in decades. Hanako loves Nene and knew her lifespan was short so he probably flirts/teases because he likes to feel her living heart beat. They’re both starved for physical affection.
guys guys YOU GUYS!!!! Was the song that Nene somehow recognized while trying to find her way back from the boundary in the tea party chapters the yorishiro song?? The pictures appear to represent it. She followed it and it took her to Amane in 1969. Why was it familiar to her? Everytime I look for answers I end up having more questions. This story is so well done.
I feel like this interaction with Nene 4 days before this conversation with Tsushigamori influenced his cryptic “I’m not going anywhere” comment. Also, this isn’t even the first time paradox Nene created. She went back to the festival, causing Amane to wish to see her again, creating this odd inevitable cycle of fate. It also makes me wonder what he remembers of his life and if he was waiting decades for her after his death.

It is sad to know that this anime has now come to an end. The characters were so compelling they left a lasting imprint. And I am aware of the fact that it is hard for some of you to let go of this anime. But worry not, the manga is waiting to be read in case you haven’t started reading it yet!

when you recently have a surgery and you decided to walk to school to see your boyfriend

- for this scenario, you recently had a knee surgery—but you wanted to see amane so you decided to go to school the next day even though you’re supposed to be resting
- the next day—your knee hurt so bad that you came limping to school, so it took you a lot of time to arrive in the classroom
- uh oh. your classmates saw you arriving in the classroom barely walking. amane stopped talking to yamabuki at the moment he saw you as he went towards you to see your state
- then your classmates stared at amane, gesturing towards [name]—as if they were mentally asking amane on what’s going on between them, well they know they’re a couple
- yamabuki had to whistle. “damn yugi, didn’t know you were that—”
- “my girlfriend recently had a knee surgery it’s not like that—!” amane said while his face turned red realizing what his classmates meant, they got the wrong idea
- “[name]? i thought you’re at home resting? i was planning to visit you after school.”
- but you protested that you wanted to see him. amane just simply smiled, he couldn’t say no to that cute face of yours.
- “i’ll take you to the infirmary for you to get some rest, then i’ll ask for a leave so that i can take you home to keep you company.”
- oh dear. amane yugi is already the best boyfriend but he’s proving that he’s more boyfriend material.
- so your choppy haired romeo carried you to the infirmary and let you rest there, of course amane’s staying with you, he doesn’t want to go to class
- “shh, don’t worry—it’ll go away soon…”
- “i’ll be here if you need me, i don’t want to see you feel hurt…”
- amane will carry you on his back on your way home since he knows that you’ll be in more pain if you walk
- will sleep over to your house to make sure that you’re alright, amane will be your personal butler—need anything? don’t worry, your lovely boyfriend’s got it for you
- he spoils you rotten. amane has to make sure that you feel his love for you in hopes that you’ll get better by giving you hugs and kisses. maybe cracking a joke or giving you cheesy remarks to make you flustered
- amane knows that you love cuddles—so even in a situation like this, he would bring you into his arms and whisper sweet nothings to help you keep your mind off your pain
- kisses to ease your pain, your whole face, your lips, anywhere that will make you forget the pain from your surgery
- amane loves you after all, he wouldn’t want to leave you being in pain, seeing you like that makes his heart ache, so hopefully your pain ends fast
- “i love you so much dear, get well soon.”
