‘I’ll be okay, you worry too much!’
As I lie in bed staring up at the dull, plain ceiling, I start replying the events that happened today in my mind. The scene running over.. and over.. and over.. and over again in my head like a broken record.
How the words that were being said to me did not reach my ears. How my brain blocked everything out until I was a mere shell of a person. Until I was in a trance-like state. A state in which I felt nothing and everything at the same time.
The state I was in now.
That is, until, the sound of a knock rung throughout my dorm room.
‘Who could it be now?’
Many people had come up to me asking what the hell had happened, as if I was going to tell them anything different from what they had already heard.
My feet met the cold wooden floor as I walked to the door, tired, with my headphones around my neck, playing ‘Sway’ by Whirr.
I contemplated whether I should even open the door as my hand met the rusted metal knob. It was 4:31 A.M. so who could it even be?
Without another thought I opened the door and the person let themselves in, looking out of the door they were now hiding behind.
“Hey! What are you-!”
“Shh!!”
“Don’tshh me in my own-!”
“Keep your voice at a whisper or they’ll know I’m here, Y/n!”
~silence~
“Y-.. Yuuta..?” I didn’t notice he was holding me so tightly until I snapped back to reality.
“Yeah..? What?”
“..nothing, I’m just, I’m glad you’re here..” I gripped his shirt tightly. Never wanting to let go.
I was having trouble even comprehending that he was real considering I had just had a comrade die on my just this afternoon. Did he know? Is that why he came?
Whatever.. It doesn’t really matter, does it?
All that matters..
..Is that he’s here.

- Lord have mercy on me OKAY HERE WE GOOO!
- He definitely can go from listening to metal one moment and be listening to Lo-Fi the next.
- Probably has underlying/hidden depression
- I feel like he’d be the type to get along well with Yuuji
- Many times he’s shown as a serious character (and rightfully so because he comes in at a detrimental time during the manga) but sometimes we forget that he’s a softie on the inside
- The only things that have changed during his year abroad was deadass just his hair and the curse that follows him around
- I still believe he would be shy and bubbly around Maki, Toge, Panda and Satoru if the situation (in the manga) was different
- But it’s a bit more died down, still innocent though
- I think he may have had a crush on Maki back when he was 15 or vise versa ♀️
- Has a deep admiration for Satoru even when people see him as a joke I think maybe Yuuta and Satoru are close to an extent
- Like, Satoru has opened up to Yuuta about some things but not all.
- I think they talked about Getou when Satoru talked about Suguru being the only best friend he’s had.
- This would explain why Yuuta vows to kill Kenjaku so his Sensei (Gojou) won’t have to kill his best friend again in Chapter 174
- He loves his friends deeply and still sometimes blames himself for having cursed Rika
- I think it’s harder for him to fall in love with someone because of it
- ‘It’ being Rika

Satoru Gojou <3
- Gets worried whenever you get hurt but then calms down when he realizes it’s just a stupid bruise from bumping into the table
- Definitely kisses your cuts/bruises
- Loves to run his finger over them (obviously not if they’d still hurt, he would never want to hurt you in any way)
- Grows accustomed to seeing some type of bruise on them because he knows they like to risk the durability of their body (haha sarcasm :P)
- Like that one time when you were going too fast on a skateboard and ended up falling on your arm (and ass) and he had to carry you to the bed and call Shoko to check what you’d hurt since you couldn’t really move your arm that much
- Was shitting his mf pants when Shoko told him you sprained your arm and wrist.
“But Sato’ I don’t need the slinggggg!!” You complained as Shoko was putting it on you. “Bunny you know you need it.” Satoru cupped your cheeks as he sat beside you on the bed.
“Fuckers, I’m done. I’ll take my leave now, I don’t wanna.. disturb… that……..” Shoko said as she inches away from you both and out the door.
- Definitely babies you and doesn’t let you even hold a feather because it’s “too heavy”
- Makes you take your pain killers at the appropriate times, nothing more, nothing less despite your whining
- Worries for you a lot when you start trying to pick things up with that arm
Megumi Fushiguro:
- He expects you to get hurt everywhere you go at this point
- He’s always the one patching you up but he scolds you for being careless
“It’s just a scratch Megu’, you don’t needa worry about me!” You gave him an energetic smile. “When you run into a wall because you’re too invested in talking to me across the room six times a day, I do need to worry.” He stated matter-of-factly as he gave you an ice pack for the bruise on your forehead.
- You remind him a bit of Yuuji if he’s being honest
- It’s even funnier that you and Yuuji do end up being patched up by him and/or Ieri.
- He smacks you upside the head when he learns of your small injury and proceeds to take you to his dorm to patch you up.
- Expect him to be extra affectionate to you subtly, but in a way that Yuuji and Nobara even know
Toji Fushiguro:
- He laughs when he learns of your constant recklessness during your average day
- Of course he patches up your little cuts and tries to help you when he can if you have anything sprained
- Because of his job, I doubt he’d be able to be home all the time because of your job or be able to call off for a long time because if he is the sole breadwinner, then man’s gotta work
- He’ll worry about you and try to finish his jobs faster so that he can come home to see you and Megu’
- He likes to show you that he’s there for you (if it’s an injury that leaves you bedridden like a sprained joint or sth) by cuddling with you and spending more time with Megumi
Yuuta Okkotsu:
- He’s always worried about you, no he never stops.
- So when his s/o is reckless, he’s hoping that you’re really careful on missions
- He doesn’t what he would do if he ever lost you
- But then again, he’s just overthinking.
- He knows that you’re strong and can take care of yourself, but he also knows that you also struggle to keep yourself injury-free for even a day
- Seriously, you give him a heart attack at least once a day with the way you always end up with a new bruise/cut
- Watches over you when you cook because he’s afraid you’ll cut yourself
“Yuuyuu why do I feel your eyes on me?” You asked the black haired man that was resting on the couch. “T-They’re not, Sweetheart!” He answered. You could see him shift his position on the couch.
“Ah shit!”
He stood up and rushed to see you, “What’s wrong? Did you hurt yourself? Are you okay?”
Once you were sure he was at your side, you giggled at how he fell for your little game.
“Aha! So you were staring at me!” You said as you continued chopping up the potatoes.
You saw him blush as he tried to explain himself, “W-Well, how could I not? You’re always hurting yourself!”
You laughed until you felt a stinging sensation on your middle finger.
Trying to conceal the now stinging incision on your finger you retorted: “T-That’s not true!” You giggled.
“…”
“…”
“You cut your finger huh?”
“…yes”
- He disinfected your cut and got you a bandage, then finished making dinner for the both of you
