She had decided to reside at the campus dorms as her university was about an hour away. Commutating every day on the local subway line would be a pain if she had to wake up a whole two hours ahead of time just to stay punctual.
“Yes, yes,” Yn hummed, making her way down the stairs to her mother’s warm homemade meal. “You seem a little giddy, mom. Did something happen?”

As the interview continued Y/N seemed to be getting mor comfortable with jungwon to the point where she even made a few jokes here and there on how they should collab

So tell me guys you recently debuted a year ago yet have so many fans internationally and have won several awards with the nickname of A monster rookie group, how do you guys feel?
“Honestly looking back to when we were in I-land trying to survive it feels great to finally see all the hard work pay off” Jake said
“I’m really glad you guys have been enjoying, all of this so please let’s us get started with our interview!”
“Okay here is how it’s going to work we’ll be playing one lie and two truths each of you have to say two truths and a lie”
“Can the truth be like anything or does it have to be specific?” Jungwon asked
“Honestly do which ever one you would like”
“That sounds easy tho” jay said
“The twist is whoever guesses the wrong answer they will have to jump from up there” y/n said while she pointed at the tall bungee jumping site above them
“Was this the reason why our interview was here?” Sunghoon asked
“Honestly not really I just did the spinning wheel on where we should film this I had no idea where I wanted to but oh well”
-time skip-
“And we’re back we’ll start playing two truths and one lie , who wants to go first?”
“I say we let sunghoon hyung go first” Jungwon said as she looked at y/n
After some time they played 2 rounds of the gam y/n ended up guessing Wich were true
“Ah it was so nice to meet you guys we hope to see you in the industry more and more and I really look up to you guys like in music whose you’re all doing such a good job” y/n said looking at jungwon
“Ah we’ve also heard about your group unite too we also look further for more interactions aswell “ jay said
“With that being said this concludes the first episode of Unite’s Showterview !” Y/n said clapping her hands
“Thank you so much for having us good bye everyone” sunoo said
“And cut” one of the staff members told everyone
“Ahhh so stressful but thank you so much for letting me interview you guys I’ll be taking my leave now” y/n said
as she bowed
“Wait umm before you leave could you give us your number for business inquiries perhaps?” Jake said

Late into the night, you’re reading by your bedside lamp, the room lit by the cozy light. Rain is pouring onto the roof, the sound of the droplets hitting your window fading into white noise as you flip to the next page of your favourite book. It seems that you can never get enough of the words the author had spilled on the pages, having already read it more than a couple times.
Sitting by your desk, back to you as he replants your plant into another vessel, is Yang Jungwon. There’s a comfortable silence that hangs in the air, the two presences in the room preoccupied with something on their own— it’s been like that for a while now, far before it had even started raining. Neither he, nor you seem to mind the quietness.
It’s not long however, before he turns to you with a boyish smile on his face. He’s expecting you to finish reading the line you’re at, pausing to pay attention to him and so that is exactly what you do. Setting the book back on your nightstand with the bookmark peeking out of the page you leave it at, you pull the simple cover away from your lap, hopping out of your mattress to stalk towards him.
“Are you done?” You lay your hand on his shoulder, leaning against the sturdy material of your desk to inspect the brand new condition of your previously suffering aloe plant, having outgrown its little pot you’d bought it in. It had been months since you’d welcomed it in your home and a change in… outfit was long overdue.
“Yup,” Jungwon nods, slipping out of his rubber gloves, “she’ll be thriving again now.”
Pushing the chair back, he stretches his legs. “Now, how am I going to be repaid?” The all-too eager expression spreads on his face— the same kind of grin he always wore whenever he knows that he will be getting something from you, whether it’s a hug, a kiss or in this case, a dance.
Reaching for your phone to open the proper piece of music for the occasion, you chuckle, “Fine, I’ll teach you how to waltz.”
From the corner of your eyes, you see him jump from his seat and start cleaning up the mess he’d accidentally created on your desk in the process of saving your aloe. Brushing the bits of soil into your trash bin, he asks you, “Is there even enough space to dance here?”
“If you help me move the bed a little to the side, then there will be.”
The rain had dwindled down by the time you’d quietly moved your bed, now falling in gentle pitter-patters. Jungwon is standing in the middle of the emptied space, ready to learn anything you teach him. Waltz No. 2 by Shostakovich is playing from your phone’s speakers, just loud enough to be heard and not too much to disturb the remaining population of the house.
“I’ll lead you, so follow my steps, okay?” You begin by placing your right hand over his shoulder when his left hand finds your waist. It’s intimate in a sense, being just you and him in your room only a foot apart, The Second Waltz in the background sounding as gentle as the hold you have on each other.
There’s an ever-constant flutter in his stomach, one that never seemed to go away in your presence. He should be used to it by now, though he is not. How could he? Even after you being his and him being yours for a year by now, he is just as smitten with you as he was before. The few words that leave your lips only barely registers in his mind before you take a step to the left.
“Now back to my right, step your right foot back next to your left and then take a step forward with your left foot.” You instruct him with an encouraging tone, not paying any heed when he steps on your toes by accident.
You step back, followed by another step to your left. Signalling him to move his foot back, you end up back where you’d started, creating a box shape. A step backwards, then to the left, forward and again, to the right— the sequence is repeated all over again.
It’s by the end of the second circle you’ve done around the room when his body fully adjusts to the rhythm, now entirely at ease with the steps and movement. “How very romantic.” He chimes, running the pad of his thumb over your intertwined hands.
The comment pulls a shy smile out of you, “I look like a rat in my old pajamas, Won. It can’t be that romantic.”
“Quite on the contrary,” he whispers, pulling you closer by the waist, taking you by surprise, “I’ve never seen anyone prettier.”
“Oh yeah,” you entertain him with a sly glint in your eyes, “how about Jang Wonyoung?”
It doesn’t bother you how he’s worked closely with idols— female ones, those who are objectively beautiful. You know the amount of love he carries in his heart only for you. Through his words and affectionate advances, even the way he simply looks at you is enough to make you feel secure in yourself.
That doesn’t mean that you didn’t like teasing him every once in a while with questions like this one. You find great pleasure in the way he panics and sputters, horrified that you might think less of his love for you.
“You know you’re way more beautiful than anyone else on this planet in my eyes.” He grumbles, noticing your mirthful stare, though he instantly lights up when you place a peck on the tip of his scrunched up nose. Another above his brow, then another on his cheek, and another on his jaw.
Jungwon melts inside, feeling his knees weaken when you smile at him again, brushing away the strands of hair falling over his eyes, “I know.”
a regular monday morning, a regular start to the week.
student government starts an hour earlier than the actual school day, so here you are. 6:56 AM exactly, arriving at school with enough time to slip your weekly love letter into his locker on the way to the student government office.
until it wasn’t a regular start.
“good morning vice prez.” his voice rings in your ear as you freeze in your spot, the letter just leaving your fingertips and you hear it hit the bottom of his locker.
maybe you’re hallucinating.
but it’s always good to check.
you turn around and you see jungwon’s figure standing in front of you.

so you mentally shake yourself awake, and walk towards the office. it wasn’t good to daydream.
“hey!” the jungwon hallucination is suddenly running to catch up to you. “it’s rude to ignore your boss!”
you whip your head around.
“my delusions are getting more and more realistic, jungwon sounds exactly as he should in real life.” you say to yourself, slapping your cheeks to wake yourself even more.
“delusions?” jungwon hallucination exclaims. “vice president y/n, i am most definitely not a delusion.”
“jungwon would probably be in the office already, and it’s highly unlikely he would be outside right now, so kindly please go away.” you shooed him as he laughed.
“you’re not wrong, but i was getting my water bottle i forgot in my locker.” your mouth hangs open as you realize.
jungwon giggles and flicks your forehead before he starts walking again.
“are you not surprised that i was the one slipping letters into your locker?” you catch up to him and you question him, playing the whole situation off, attempting to hide your embarrassment.
“i mean, your letters weren’t discrete at all.” he elbows you, smirking. scoffing and crossing your arms. “the handwriting, the stickers, the content. do you not think that i wouldn’t know my vp’s writing?”
“well, what do you think?” you ask, trying to keep your cool.
“hmm, i don’t know, what do i think?” jungwon smiles smugly and winks. “okay, this week’s student government meeting starts now. we’re taking attendance, who’s not here?”
you’re looking down and scowling, but jungwon knows that you understood what he meant.
he knows there’s a blush swarming your cheeks you’re trying to keep a secret, and he smiles to himself.

would become very protective over you when this happens. he’d come over to you and wrap an arm around your shoulders or your waist and straight up just kiss you. maybe just on your head to make the person realise you’re taken or maybe even straight up just grab your chin, turn your face towards his and kiss you if he’s feeling bold enough. afterwards he may be a bit pouty though
park jongseong
protective number two. if he was standing beside you, he would tightly grip your waist and pull you into his side making it obvious to whoever was hitting on you that you were taken. if he wasn’t with you at the time but saw it happening, he’d do the same as i just mentioned, but when he gets to you he’d rudely interrupt whoever you were talking to and say something like “who’s this babe?” or bluntly just “who even are you?”
sim jaeyun
protective number three </3 he would come over and put his arm around your waist and kiss your head. then he’d just hover his lips over where he just kissed your head and stay in that position but just glare at whoever was talking to you with this side eye and just smirk (^_^*) then he’d lift his head and just give them this look and do the thing where he puts his tongue in his cheek to show how impatient he’s getting and tilt his head to the side </33333 (can you tell i’m profoundly jake biased?)
park sunghoon
i feel like he would suddenly just feel bold. he’d walk up to you and put an arm around you and give the person you’re speaking to this look. something like a smirk that’s like ‘yea, i’m their boyfriend’ and ‘you really think you can pull them, huh?’. would just look at them with a slightly confused face wondering why they hadn’t walked away yet. i think he’d look pretty intimidating.
kim sunoo
would give whoever was flirting with you that look. you all know exactly which one i’m talking about. he would really just stare at them so confused as to why they were talking to you and why they were still trying. once the person stopped talking he would just be like jay and say something like ‘who are you?’
yang jungwon
he would have no idea what to do. does he let you hopefully handle the situation or does he cut in? he can’t decide. but then he gives up because he can’t watch you talk to this person anymore. he’ll go up to you and maybe just stand there cause he doesn’t know if he should interrupt or simply just pull you away. he’d probably just stand super close to you and maybe take your hand in his. cute :(
nishimura riki
i feel like he’d get a bit pouty. not too much as to where he starts acting childish, but he would definitely make a little sad face. if he was standing with you he’d just lightly put his arm around your shoulder or around your waist and just glare at whoever was trying to make conversation with you until they got the message that you were taken and left.
