I like the hc that past diluc wouldn’t like current diluc all that much if they met, he wouldn’t like that current diluc is so serious and distant from people. And current diluc would let him be mad at him because he knows his past self hasn’t gone through the things he did yet
Past diluc calling current diluc a jerk and lightly punching him and current diluc just letting him and parring him on his head, holding back tears because he also doesn’t like what he’s become and he doesn’t want his past self to stop being so loud and bright
Adding on to this, past diluc mad at current diluc for leaving for 4 years but also mad at kaeya for letting him go. He doesn’t understand what’s going on, he loves his kaeya so much and wants to spend the rest of his life with him, so why are their older versions acting like idiots instead??
What if diluc visits kaeya in his office just so they can fuck. Kaeya often goes on long trips because of the missions jean gives him, so diluc needs to make do with the little time they have when kaeya’s in the city
When diluc arrives at the headquarters, the knights standing guard let him in without asking any questions, as scared as they get from diluc’s scowl and hard steps
But hours later, when diluc leaves with a light blush on his face and some strands of hair out of place, the men are left wondering just what could’ve happened in their captain’s office
