Set Your Sights on “Visions,” an Anime Star Wars Anthology Coming This Fall
Enjoy the first trailer, above, for the nine-episode first season, which airs in both Japanese and English languages on Disney’s streaming service on September 22. Seven anime studios handled animation for the episodes:
- Kamikaze Douga, “The Duel”
- Geno Studio (Twin Engine), “Lop and Ochō”
- Studio Colorido (Twin Engine), “Tatooine Rhapsody”
- TRIGGER, “The Twins” and “The Elder”
- Kinema Citrus, “The Village Bride”
- Science Saru, “Akakiri” and “T0-B1”
- Production I.G., “The Ninth Jedi”
In addition to theimpressive cast lists for both audio versions, StarWars.com shared an excited statement from Lucasfilm VP of Franchise Content & Strategy James Waugh — an executive producer on the project.
