When Gaon directly asks, practically begs, Yohan to be trustworthy
Judge Yohan essentially is like ♂️
But everytime Judge Yohan does something big in the courtroom he always looks to Gaon to see his response.
To see if Gaon understands and approves. Which he doesn’t always, but Judge Yohan needs him to understad that even if he is not conventional he is consistent. He is always clear on his enemies. He never lied to Gaon about that. And isn’t that enough? Sure, there is a lot that Gaon doesn’t know about Judge Yohan but Gaon isn’t an open book either!! And if you look at it another way Judge Yohan has been more honest with Gaon than Gaon has been with him. Gaon lives in his house for goodness sake!!! Thats pretty transparent!!!
Anyway, my point is, it seems that Yohan is counting on Gaon’s curiosity and the bit of trust he does have in him to keep him around until he is fully convinced that Judge Yohan is doing the right thing. But will Gaon ever believe that Judge Yohan’s ends justify his means??!?! I dont know!! I can’t tell what the writers are going to do!! and it’s torture!!
1x04||1x01:I think Yohan remembered what happened in the past and this time he didn’t let his panic and other people get in the way, he took matters into his own hands (until Gaon ran towards the bus lol if he had done that in later episodes when they are closer, I’m pretty sure Yohan would have stopped him or something).
Okay but forever split between rooting for a Soohyun/Gaon endgame because homegirl has been there for him since day one, has been crushing on him for years plus she’s just so tender and soft and protective over Gaon—it’s very precious to see. It’s the forever beautiful childhood best friends to lovers trope that I’ll never get enough of.
On the other hand, I also root for Yohan/Gaon endgame because oh the glorious angst, the sexy pining (in every single way), the dubious trust, the subtle glances, playing the eternal game of oneupmanship while also being inexplicably drawn to each other, the domesticity and the antagonism AND of course the sweet, sweet forbidden romance.
