Week 28: So after that night, IT WAS HOLIDAYS!! So I got to spend some time in host families! This was the view from my room at the first host family. (I think I’ve talked about them before.. The octopus post from ages ago?) 

Week 28: So, this just happened to be taken in Week 28.. But this black book is literally what saved me in the dorm with all it’s strict rules. Inside (of course in Japanese, but..) is all the rules of the dorm. It explains how everything works.

Week 28: I mean come on, who wouldn’t want to eat that! It was amazing!

Week 28: After that was finished, we went back to our own rooms and had another party. We had discussed earlier what we were specifically going to eat, so one of the younger students went and bought some skewers and my friend made some fruit sandwiches.. Sounds weird, but actually tasted really good! (Plus the jellies looked amazing!)

Week 28: We then went to the bottom 2 levels of the dorm building and opened all the windows to look through (the first picture is 2 of my friends above me). The dorm actually had like a big part in the middle that was open, and then the actual dorm was around that (second picture). But some of the students had prepared some ‘skits’ and performed them in the middle while everyone else watched on. It was really fun :) They all did amazingly, and it was fun listening to them, and cheering them on.

Week 28: The both of them got a bit carried away with the photos.. haha

Week 28: Yeah, I shouldn’t have let Shizuku have my phone for so long..

Week 48: I’m not sure how well you can see it.. But they’ve put up Christmas lights outside Kashiwa station!
