Another thing I really like about the obi-wan show is how, like, honest the inquisitors are about the jedi. Who the jedi were, what they’re all about. I like the implication that while Palpatine has his closest cronies spreading propaganda about how the jedi were all corrupt, Vader is not telling his people to do the same. How much of that is training, drilling more hatred into the inquisitors, teaching them to be proud of it? And how much is Vader not being able to truly stomach that lie all the time? How much is just guilt?
Just gonna go ahead and say that it’s not a coincidence that these first two episodes of the obi wan show, and all the best episodes of the mandalorian and book of boba fett, were directed by women. Not a coincidence. Women get shit done and they get shit done better

You’re telling me this woman spent more than two minutes with quinlan vos and didn’t hear some story about quin putting obi-wan’s hand in a bowl of warm water at jedi summer camp and him wetting the bed at age 13? No way
I blew up some screenshots to see what was written on the wall, to see if it was exactly what obi wan says. I was hoping it wouldn’t be and that it would say something silly, but it looks like it’s the exact quote. BUT the name he signed is just “quinlan” which for some reason breaks my heart
He wouldn’t need to include his last name. Any jedi passing through will know exactly who the message means when it says “quinlan”. You wouldn’t sign your last name in a letter to your loved ones. They know exactly who you are. You’re family.
