In which Bilbo needs some time for himself (highly likely with Thorin ;)) and Raewyn has to babysit Frodo, who proceeds to invite Merry and Pippin. Kili is not allowed to laugh or he has to sleep outside.

The Kiln was always hot - in summer uncomfortably so, but in the oncoming cold of winter its warmth was much appreciated. Still, that warmth had to be fuelled by something. It was already hard work keeping enough in the wood-store for the stove and the fireplace; having enough for the Kiln on top of that made it almost back-breaking. Despite how uncomfortable it was, it had to be done if Luna wanted to continue making her pottery throughout the winter months. Perhaps it was not accurate to suggest that Luna ‘wanted’ to continue - the Hobbit Lass did indeed enjoy her work, but it was very much work. Without work there was nothing to sell or trade and without that there was no food. Winter was hardly the season for foraging.
