A birthday gift arrived unexpectedly on my doorstep today—a crock for sourdough, by the King Arthur Baking Company! Here it is with some toothpicks for scale. It’s a lot easier to stir stuff in than a mason jar, I’ll tell you that right now, and the flour doesn’t go absolutely everywhere with such a wide mouth to dump it into. I love it! So useful!
