#kitten witch and the bad vibes
@kittenwitchandthebadvibes, here’s my take on your redraw challenge! I hope you get to feeling more pawsitive soon, and that all these magical kitties give you lots of warm fuzzy love! I know I put a lot of good happy vibes in here for you, and anyone who sees it!
As for my art style, I’d say that the thing I like best, is how I shade things, and try to add texture, and making a photo a little bit more of my own, while giving proper tribute to the origional artist.
P.s. I hope you like the tea!
I ADORE that @onlybassoon01 put in so many extra details, and they’re all drawn so well! The hearth with the tea, the liTTLE FROGGY ON THE LOGGY And the unique, gorgeous textures and folds in their hats! Not to mention their adorable faces!! Thank you so much, friend!!
@kittenwitchandthebadvibes I couldn’t resist your challenge to draw this in my own style. I like being shameless about using glitter gel pens when I feel the need arises!!! I also like that I’ve become more accepting of my art style.
@icecoldparadise Use your glitter pens! Use whatever art supplies make you happy! Really digging your mix of thin lineart and the thicker, coloured lineart with your pencils!
These sticker sheets will be going into the Kitten Witch shop sometime next week, but if you’re in Melbourne, Australia this weekend for Melbourne Supanova you could come by, say hi, and see them in person maybe?
I saw @kittenwitchandthebadvibes challenge of draw this in your style and had to try it!
Something I like about my style, I like that I have more or less developed a signature style, colorful and anime like. Had a lot of fun doing this, playing with colors, lights and shades makes my imagination fly.
Somehow this posted without my comment! @kurosidad I love how you draw fur! Your colouring is so unique, I love the way the colours intermingle!
@kittenwitchandthebadvibes I made a fairy for you!! Your blog helps me with so much and I wanted to try my hand at another character. My favorite thing about my style is that I can spend time watching my ideas come to life in my hands, and no two are ever done exactly the same!
@warcats-cat has me speechless with their unique spin on the challenge Look at the details, like the perfect colours in the wings and the star potion bottle! And how much do you wanna boop those little Kitten Witch pompoms?
I gotta say I love how it turned out :)
Thanks to @kittenwitchandthebadvibes for the lovely image
Also, the thing that I love of is my art is faces :D!
@leaninfiniteshadowrealm I loooove the line weight variations you’ve used, and your choice of yellow accents!
Here’s your drawing in my style! thanks for giving me something adorable to draw
I love pen drawings! I am genuinely in love with how sweet Witch looks, and her red hair. The long ribbons is such a nice touch
I like that I’m developing a style and that it’s improved significantly in the past year. I only got into digital drawing last summer so I’m proud of how much better I’ve gotten.
Your blog is amazing btw and helps me take my mind off things ❤️
Thank you so much, @lissagreenleafholmesart My favourite part of this is how cute you made Kitten Witch, her face especially
It can be so intimidating to start something like digital drawing, but it’s gratifying to look back and see how much you’ve improved!
Helpful and Preventative Stretches for Writers, Artists, and Gamers✍
If you type, write, draw, game, or generally use your hands a lot (especially if you’re prone to RSI or Carpal Tunnel!) try these stretches as both a preventative measure, and on the spot relief. Take care of yourself and your body, friends!
Start with hands up, fingers stretched out. Stretch your thumb as far as you can over your palm. Hold and repeat 4 times.
Touch each finger to your thumb. Hold each for 30 seconds. Repeat on each hand 4 times.
Start with a fist. Open half way, hold for 2 seconds. Stretch fingers out, hold for 2 seconds. Repeat 4 times.
Start with one arm out, palm up. Pull your fingers back with your other hand. Hold for 10 seconds. Do the same with your other hand. Repeat 4 times
Start with arms up, palms out. Bend wrists down until you feel the stretch, but keep your fingers loose. Hold 10 seconds. Bend wrist upwards, until you feel it in your wrist and arm. Hold 10 seconds. Repeat 4 times.
If you need permission to do nothing today, this is it. You need to rest to be at your best!
I wasn’t sure if you were doing this still, but I saw it as an opportunity for me and my daughter to draw together since she loves cats and I love anything magical.
My daughter says she loves how she drew the cat and he turned out so cute. And the robe was hard for her but she’s proud of herself. And I am too!
For me , I love my line less way of drawing , though for the cat I used lines lol. But my love is how I color things.
Thank you for this opportunity !
@creativepitstop got me living for this cute mama daughter moment
Mama, your colouring is stunning! The way you’ve rendered their faces is so sweet! Lovin’ your lighting and Kitten’s curl especially!
Mama’s girl, I really adore Kitten’s darker purple, and her sweet, gorgeous face I can’t wait to see your work grow and evolve!
@kittenwitchandthebadvibes has wonderful heartwarming art, they had to take some time off but they’re planning to be back soon! they drew a [post] and encouraged followers to redraw it in their own styles to share! kirby decided he wanted to draw it :v
(re: the catch: I like that I’m getting better at making kirby expressive, and that I’ve been really consistent about drawing every day! and kirby likes the colors he chooses, and how much fun he has drawing.)
drawn in drawing desk for iOS (on sketch desk)
I LOVE THIS! Congratulations on drawing every day @kirby-the-gorb that is not an achievement to take lightly! I’m in awe !!
So I finally got around to doing this! @kittenwitchandthebadvibes put this up and it was far too cute for me not to draw it! Haven’t drawn in so long I’m proud it actually turned out.
What I like about my style is how cute and simple it looks! I can put hours into a drawing or painting and still keep it simple.
It’s so hard to pick a favourite here, I love the mix of defined and sketchier lineart, the watercolour textures, the beautiful way the eyes are drawn! Thank you so much for participating @brokensnowbird
Here’s@kittenwitchandthebadvibes’ drawthisinyourstyle challenge!
Elegance! Mystique! Grumpy kitten! @c-r-y-s-c I hope you’ll share what you like about your style! I love the hair, the soft shading, and the flowy folds in the clothing
