Shot of my finished Sixth Street Light Cardigan (Pattern by Amy Miller on Ravelry.com), this photo was taken a couple weeks ago when I was working at the yarn shop! Honestly I could’ve gone down one size but the extra room makes it more cozy. I did also adjust the sleeves a little bit, only by a couple rows.
I fell in love with this color way awhile back and had to make this cardigan out of it. It’s Madelinetosh BFL sock yarn in the color Cactus Flower. I absolutely love cacti and when I saw this gorgeous color, which fit the name perfectly I couldn’t resist.

Grande Skeins are making their comeback!!
I just added some 300 gram skeins (Cocoa x 2 and Clove x 2) and 400 gram Grande Skeins (Pepper x 2 and Clove x 2) in Fingering Weight (75% SW Australian Wool/25% Nylon) to the shop!!
I’ll be adding a few 200 gram skeins in DK Weight (75% SW Merino Wool/25% Nylon) to the shop as soon as they are photographed!
If you’re unfamiliar with Grande Skeins, let me tell you why they’re so cool. These are one continuous strand of yarn! This makes it possible to knit a project without having to rotate skeins (what???)!
I made 2 (400 gram) Grande Skeins on fingering weight in the Eggnog colorway and they’ll be added to the shop as soon as they’re dry and wound.
Also, Grande Skeins on Biscotti Sock are on the horizon!

**SHOP UPDATE**
Okay, so I love dyeing green tonals.
The thing about green yarn, though, is it’s the HARDEST color to photograph! And if you’re a dyer and you never struggle with photographing green, I’m not sure I want to know about it.
These are new colors to the shop and are now available. The first one is Jade and the second one is Green Tea. Jade is a foresty green and Green Tea is closer to a Christmas green with a bit of a darker hue. I just posted these in the shop and there are only a few of each available right now but there are more coming!
