What a good day for Chiakifans! So many new things!
A new SprigganPV. As I mentioned before, it’s not a genre I usually watch, but I’ll do it for Chiaki. He sounds SO GOOD as this chara! Less shounen and more manly. I love it. SO HOT!! It’s out next month.
A new Shoot! Goal to the FuturePV.Chiakiis MC here too! Tbh I’m kinda sick of soccer anime already, but I’ll give it a chance since it’s Chiaki. The rest of the cast is great too! Also, it seems very fanservicey which I LOVE heh. Starts on July.
I’ve been following the CROSS×RIVER PRODUCTION youtube channel for some time now, tho I’m not sure what this is all about. I only enjoy watching the vids with the characters voiced by Chiaki,Ichikawa(Aoi) and Taito(Ban), And I just saw they’re having some kind of performance of Momotaro? And there is a video of Chiakisinging!!!! I love getting more of him singing, so I was very happy to listen to that ^_^
(Btw, I did end up watching Vampire in the Garden but never posted about that. I quite enjoyed it. Chiakihad a minor role as a vampire prince, and he was cute. I also enjoyed the relationship between the two main female characters - the human girl and the vampire. Buuut, wasn’t a big fan of the whole ending :/ )

Remember the GokuLuck’s Online Meeting from 2 months ago? I was finally able to watch the full thing!! ;__; (bless the kind soul who uploaded it!!)
I’m so happy! I wanted to see more of the whole group together! It was nice seeing them playing games and giving us a glimpse of the drama track irl.
That part was my fav, both in the drama track and in this broadcast, because I freaking love his adorable laugh sfm!!??
And the Live is on the 28th! I can’t wait to see all the photos! (and I’m jealous of everyone who gets to watch that ;___;)

But damn those LQ pics, I totally thought Chiaki was doing half a heart with Seii-chan at first, but then realized HE WAS NOT. Had a little heart attack for a second there.

There it is! The scene that made me watch this anime! XD
(Yeah, I know it’s for the sake of the game, but that was still nice to watch lol)
I love this cast so much! And everyone seems to really like this franchise <3
Chiakiwas busy from early in the morning (was on some other show) then he continued to a VSAtalk event with Reiou(lucky fans who got to sit in the room and see them in the flesh AHH). Then they had that VSAlive broadcast. I hope he sleeps well tonight after this long day!
From the very beginning, Chiakikept mentioning that his suit was actually green but you couldn’t see it because of the green screen. It actually looked black. Only on the pics on twitter you could see it’s actually a dark green color lol.
I was watching live on my phone. I love watching live when you can comment on the live chat. If any of you were there and saw green hearts every once in a while - that was probably me ^^;;.
When they revealed the cover photo for the next drama focusing on the White boys, Lion&kazu,Chiakisaid: “TASUKU!” and Hatareplied: “it’s not me, it’s Lion&Kazu” ROFL. I feel you, Chiaki. I feel you. I wanted to scream too lol. I just love the art smf?? Every time a new cover art of a certain pair comes out - I fangirl hard. They are all so gorgeous!!! (they kinda look like they’re about to kiss here lol)
They showed part of the next drama, and we found out Lion&Kazuboth got the main roles in their next task as idols - a musical! I lol’d at Jintaroshouting why wasn’t he chosen xD He’s such a dramatic kid I love him. We got a guest appearance - the stage director was voiced by Konishi-san. The moment his chara said: “hello!” ALL the comments on the live chat were screaming: “KONISHI-SAN??!!” loool. Everyone guessed right on the first word, sasuga us XD (later Angenalso commented how all the chat was filled with comments shouting ‘Konishi-san’ hahah).
The reveal of the 3rd mini album left me speechless. Speechless and weeping xD Because I couldn’t believe we’re getting those 2 musicals! Everyone look so good! I mean - LION???!!! HELLO???!!!!!! He suits a vampire SO MUCH ASDFGHJKL. And all the boys who have to dress up and act like girls! Can’t wait to hear ChiakiasCionaaaaah!! (he said he hasn’t recorded his parts yet). I’m not surprised both Ayu’s charas are gonna be girls hahaha. The upper one with MC Kazuis more of a comedy while the other one with MC Lion is more of a gothic love story. I CAN’T WAIT AHHHHHHHH.
I was hoping Chiaki&Hatawould take pics together and tweet them, and I GOT THAT YEAAHH. Thanks guys, ILU *___* (Hatawas wearing a True Self shirt from Yoshiki’s brand :D)
In the end we got the results of the 2nd voting! I vote for Jintaroon every voting but it’s not enough <_>. I love Ciontoo since both are Chiaki’s, but I love Jintaromore, hence why I wish he’d win. But I’ll be happy no matter what because it’s still Chiakiin the end, and he’ll always be there!
I vote for the same charas every single time, my favs out of each pair hasn’t changed since the very beginning. So I’m happy to see Subaruwon this time, and also Lion! Finally Lion!! I really want Lionto win this!! Poor Rey doesn’t stand a change.. I wonder why. I still vote for him but seems like the fans love 39YEAH way more. Miois cute but I really want IsseiandLionto be together in the end!!
Can’t wait for the upcoming drama parts, the new songs and hopefully MVs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *_____*

This trio had a reciting event today! <3
I enjoyed their interaction on Twitter a lot! XD
Chiakifirst tweeted a photo of hands holding some food and wrote that he’s on the train with Seii-chan. Then he added a tweet that those are “Yamashita-san’s fingers and lunch”. Seii-chan retweeted that with a .
Obv I started fangirling HARD, imagining the both of them sitting near each other on the train, and Chiakitaking photos of Seii-chan (I screamed internally “GIVE US A SELFIE ONEGAIIII”. Sadly that didn’t happen.) Then Ryoutaretweeted and added: “Suzukiwas also on that train”. That made me LAUGH. Him referring to himself in third person, and Chiakinot mentioning he’s with them on his original tweet (OTP & their third wheel ;D. But let’s not forget RyoutawasChiaki’s first in BL haha). To this Chiakireplied: “let’s show each other’s lunch on the way home”, to which Ryoutareplied something like: “it’s annoying but ok”. ROFL. On their way back Ryoutareally tweeted a photo of his own lunch and added: “it can’t be helped” aka ‘I had to do it since Chiakiwanted’ xD. To which Chiaki replied with a photo of his own lunch, saying it was delicious~
I still remember that they were meant to go together to that Twisted Wonderland thing back then but that didn’t happen (RyoutaandSeii-chan both went with other cast members, but Chiakinever went ;__;).
So I’m happy they got to be together on a different date!

They are all so cute and awkward!! I love them all.
But he’s my fav! Yes, I’m biased, since he’s voiced by Chiaki^_^;; but I also like his personality the most. He’s adorable. JUST LOOK AT HIM IN THAT PAGE! He’s literally the ‘pointing at self meme’.

At first, seeing ChiakiandSeii-chan in another cd together, I wanted to shout: You Had One Job!! (aka, pairing them together again). But you know what? I have such strong feelings for their Hizamazuite Ai o Tou BLCD, that tbh - I’m not sure I’m ready to hear them in a different story and other roles. It’s not like, for example, Makonyan/Taru/OnoYu/Takuchan/Oki2who have been paired with each other many times and I didn’t mind all the different roles and coupling. How to explain that.. hmm.. BECAUSE I love Seii-chan&Chiaki as those specific characters so much, I can’t imagine hearing them portraying a complete different story and couple. Do I make any sense here or not? I’m not sure ^^;; Like, you’d think that I wouldn’t mind 100 different BLCDs with them as different couples, because I love them irl etc, BUT, that’s not really the case. I’m not sure that makes sense. I’m just.. really devoted to that one couple ^^ (but let’s be real, if we DO ever get another BLCD with them together, I won’t be sad of course xD. So I kinda just contradicted that whole paragraph here. What is logic anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
But anyway, I glanced at the manga.
God damn it Zuntais gonna be a suuuper hot power bottom!!! I can already imagine the voice he’ll use. I’ll be waiting for the snippets to see if I was right lol.

SK8 Love Masquerade Seiyuu Event – 07/04/2021 Afternoon

■ INTRODUCTION
- Reki and Langa did the intro (voice over only), where they issued guidelines before the start of the event like not being allowed to eat in the venue (which saddened Langa), and having to turn off their phones (Reki took care of turning off his phone and Langa’s). Langa also had a hard time reading some kanji in the guidelines and Reki helped him.
- The event of course starts with Adam, appearing in a VTR welcoming everyone to the masquerade. He calls “Langa-kun and the others” to enter the stage. Throughout the event, Adam appears through the VTR as the host of the masquerade.
- The seiyuus appeared with masks on (but eventually took them off when they spoke).
■ “OUR INFINITE TALK” CORNER
A “video message” from Koyasu appears as an introduction, though the only thing shown on the video is his mask on top of a table.
Question #1: Since Sk8 is an original anime, you did the acting without knowing how the story would go later on. What development particularly surprised you?
● Koyasu: I didn’t expect that Adam would be THIS amazing as a character. I really loved Adam. (VTR shows Adam in the last ep in his funeral outfit and skateboard)
● Nagatsuka: That Langa is TOO good. I thought it would be a story about Reki and Langa moving up the ladder together, but Reki was eventually left out.
● Hatanaka: I was surprised about what happened to Hiromi getting beaten up later on.
Kobayashi: I was surprised that he would end up getting along with everyone, like he’s gotten the Mom role now.
Midorikawa: He’s indeed gotten cuter towards the end.
Matsumoto: We were talking in the backstage earlier how there would be a spin-off where the Manager falls in love with Shadow (not Hiromi).
Hatanaka: But the Manager was shown with someone else in the last ep
Miyake: I’m sure that’s just one of their relatives!
● Kensho (appearing through a VTR where he’s in his Tadashi outfit): Didn’t expect that Adam and Kikuchi grew up and have lived together since they were little, and that Kikuchi is actually older than Adam. I never thought that I’d ever get to play a role who’s older than Koyasu’s (Note: irl Koyasu is 54, Kensho is 31 yrs old)
Question #2: What about SK8 shocked you the most?
● Matsumoto: I thought SK8 would be more about sports, but it turned out to be really crazy! I honestly thought like, “What the hell is the director thinking?”
● Nagatsuka: I was surprised that even getting off the skateboard is counted. Well, there’s Joe who rode using his hands, which in a way is still considered riding, but Adam got off and even hit someone with a skateboard.
● Hatanaka: And even when someone gets hit the people around were just calm about it like it’s something normal
● Midorikawa: But hitting others is bad! That’d hurt A LOT! Moreover, at first I was thinking that the exhibition moves like Love Hug is impossible irl, but Cherry sometimes would give explanations so that’s interesting and made me think that it might actually be possible.
● Matsumoto: But Joe’s style is really unbelievable! I tried it at home (“Rocket style” but with no skateboard) but it was impossible!
● Director Utsumi (answer is shown on-screen): When I received the first draft written by scriptwriter Ookouchi, I was surprised that Kikuchi answers Adam with “Wan!” in the last ep. (Note: Wan! is a dog sound in Jpn) In the end it was replaced with “Hai! (Yes)”.
*The seiyuu cast then rewatched the scene in the event.
Cast: Now the only thing we can hear is Kikuchi saying, “Wan!”
Question #3: If you can have Carla for a day, what would you ask her to do?
● Hatanaka: I want her to tell me to “Calm down, Hatanaka-san” whenever I get nervous. I want her to get mad or control me. (The cast laughs at his wordings because of the possible implied meanings)
● Kobayashi: I want Carla to guide me because I get lost easily.
Matsumoto: Just use your phone!
Midorikawa: That doesn’t have to be Carla, you know.
● Midorikawa: I want Carla to guide me during recordings, saying things like, “Your next line is coming in 3, 2, 1…” or “For the next line, you should put more emotions”.
Question#4: Which character unexpectedly got more/less screen time?
● Kobayashi: The glasses girl voiced by Hayami Saori. She appears in a few episodes and I thought she would have an important role to play later on, but nothing happened.
● Nagatsuka: I was curious to know more about Harry.
● Hatanaka: I was thinking that Reki actually didn’t skate that much throughout the anime.
● Matsumoto: Midorikawa and I were thinking that Reki doesn’t seem much like a protagonist.
■ LIVE VOICE ACTING CORNER
- Adam asks the seiyuus to reenact the scenes again,
- Reenacted eps:
- #2: Joe-Cherry bickering scene, Langa going to Reki’s garage scene
- #6: Skating scene when they arrived in Okinawa, Reki-Langa “I will protect you” scene, “Papa” Joe scene
- #8 Shadow vs Snake scene
- #7 Reki-Langa “breakup” scene
- #10 Reki-Miya Hospital scene, Reki-Langa reconciliation scene
- Hatanaka and Kobayashi did the Infinity bump (with proper social distancing)
- The Palm trees aka ED was played/shown at the end of the corner
- Reki and Langa were having a talk after. Langa said that he also wanted to hear Adam’s scenes again. Reki then said that he also wanted to hear the “Love hotel guy” too.
Langa: Ah, Reki you never gave any explanation about the love hotel incident.
Reki: Okay! Let’s just go and impersonate Adam!
Langa: You’re dodging the question.
Reki (imitates Adam’s voice): Langa-kun! Love Hug!
Langa: No Reki, it’s “Love hug” (English accent)
Reki: That’s not the point!
Langa: Okay, I’ll go next (in impersonating Adam). Reki-kun! You’re lovelyyyy!!
Reki: That’s wrong! He’s not gonna say that!
■ LIVE PERFORMANCE CORNER
ASH DA HERO and Yuusuke perform the insert songs.
■ Announcements like Blu-ray and Goods promotion

Reki and Langa again did the voice over as guide at the end of the event. Langa is hungry after the event. When Reki asked him what he wants to eat,
Langa: Poutine, Ramen, Cake, Ice cream, Poutine…
Reki: That’s too much! You should have stopped at Poutine
Langa: Poutine isn’t enough.
In the Evening event, it was announced that sk8 will be having a
- Stage play adaptation
- New anime project
