Had some fun yesterday and created fancy Miraculous Ladybug inspired specialty cocktails!
I call them Lucky Charm and Cataclysm!
Lucky Charm is a gin-based cocktail. I used Hendrick’s gin, as it’s known for its hints of rosy floral botanical notes, alluding to Marinette’s pink floral motif on her civilian outfit! Pomegranate syrup and cranberry juice give the drink that deep Ladybug red hue, and I also added a bit of Luxardo cherry syrup to make the color just a touch deeper. To finish it off, the drink is garnished with Luxardo cherries, which act as the lucky spots!
Cataclysm is a whiskey-based cocktail. I used Maker’s Mark as the base liquor, then added equal parts lemon and lime to the mix. There’s a bit of simple syrup to add sweetness, and then some pasteurized egg whites to add texture, and that beautiful layer of white foam on top! My favorite part of making this cocktail was playing around with the color. I knew I wanted to make something to match Chat Noir’s outfit, but black is a hard color to create naturally. So I got creative! I took activated charcoal powder (no, not the kind of charcoal from your BBQ haha) which is the only tasteless, natural, food safe food dye that can color something stark black, and I made a solution out of this. I added just a tiny bit to the drink, which turned it from a yellowish color to COMPLETELY BLACK. Super cool! I shook it all up like crazy to get a super thick layer of foam, I then used an eyedropper and verrrrrryyyyy carefully designed the pawprints on top of the drink!
Super happy with how they turned out and they were so fun to come up with!! Also, they both taste like….. super good, which is a pretty awesome bonus. If anyone is interested in recreating the drinks, let me know and I can post exact recipes!!!
But I’d love to tweak them and see how it tastes as well. I think for Ladybug’s drink I’d love to do a cherry chocolate drink, but with the gin this person used. And I’d either try to do some chocolate spots in the glass and gently pour the drink over that. If that didn’t work then the cherry garnish is good (always sounded good, lol).
For the Cataclysm drink I think it’d be cool to make it like a layered martini type drink. One layer is that glowing yellow-green of Chat Noir’s Miraculous (forgive me I watch it im the English dub and can never understand what they’re saying when they say its name :/ ) and the other layer like how the person did the one in this post.
Or I’d just do a yellow sugared rim, maybe flavored sugar, and/or a lemon garnish.
I’ve had several people (like my parents, friends, and online strangers) tell me that my voice is similar to Marinette’s. I decided to test this theory and voice act my favorite scene in Season 4—Hire me Zagtoons :’)

As anyone who watches the show , when I think about it cat noir powers are scary as hell his powers that it destroy anything makes me think if his powers hits a person they could die I already watch the episode 11 S3 , when I see cat noir gets hit by his own powers it scare the shit outta me , of course the writers don’t want it make that dark since kids are also watching the show, but the way he’s in pain it looks like he’s was dying glady he’s still alive sure it only happens in fan fiction and fan art but that was almost canon I wonder if there’s a script when cat noir try use his powers on the villain item but he misses and hits a person and they die ? but who knows but seriously his powers are horrifying.
