Adrien and his father moved back to Paris a month ago, (this topic will be better explored in the future) and he haven’t made any friends in his new school. Actually, they threat him kinda badly there.
In this AU Gabriel is an university teacher, and until this point Adrien was educated by homeschooling with him. (this topic will be better explored in the future too). As Gabriel is very intelligent, Adrien has become very smart too.

Well, with time being Chat Noir and just ageing up, Adrien has now more confidence about saying what he wants to his father, screw pleasing him 24/7. And so he dates Marinette and Gabriel hates it, and then they get engaged, and Gabriel hates it more, and when they get married, Gabriel’s like “at least I hope your wife took your name.” And Marinette looks at him right in the eye, Adrien smirks, and they announce “actually, Adrien bears my name now. We’re a modern couple, let’s be modern.” And Adrien shoves his new passport with written on it “Last name: Dupain-Cheng, né Agreste; first name: Adrien Gabriel” to his father’s face
