dedicated to all my fellow blondies out there, love yall <3<3

the great Gatsby orchestral soundtrack by Craig Armstrong is the most beautiful thing in this whole world

trying to be the esoteric, waif, heroin chic, lizzy grant girl in gym class then getting hit by a volley ball straight in the face is so me besties

Sooo, lemme see if I can get all of them: @queerdove did Taylor Swift,@crowleyraejepsendidCRJ,@gaydolindidMIKA,@anthonycrowleydidHozierand80s Pop,@basilhallward did Abbaso and @aziraphalesbian did Paradise Fears. The next logical step, for me, was to add Lana Del Rey to the mix

  1. Bohemian Rhapsody (Crowley’s entrance) / Gods & Monsters (In the land of gods and monsters / I was an angel / Living in the garden of evil / Screwed up, scared, doing anything that I needed / Shining like a fiery beacon / You got that medicine I need / Fame, liquor, love, give it to me slowly / Put your hands on my waist, do it softly / Me and God we don’t get along so now I sing)
  2. These Are the Days of Our Lives (Crowley and Aziraphale driving) / Born To Die (Come take a walk on the wild side / Let me kiss you hard in the pouring rain / You like your girls insane / So choose your last words, this is the last time / Cause you and I, we were born to die)
  3. Bicycle Race (Crowley hits Anathema with his car) / Kinda Outta Luck (Is it wrong that I think it’s kinda fun / When I hit you in the back of the head with a gun? / My daddy’s in the trunk of this brand new truck / I really want him back but I’m kinda outta luck)
  4. You’re My Best Friend (Crowley arrives at the burning bookshop) / Love(I get ready, I get all dressed up / To go nowhere in particular / It doesn’t matter if I’m not enough / For the future or the things to come / ‘Cause I’m young and in love / I’m young and in love)
  5. Somebody to Love (Crowley leaving the burning bookshop) / Dark Paradise (Every time I close my eyes / It’s like a dark paradise / No one compares to you / I’m scared that you won’t be waiting on the other side)
  6. Another One Bites the Dust (Crowley stuck in traffic) / Hit And Run (Nothing’s for free / It’s money and technology / Together we’d be deadly / Deadly / Deadly / Hit and run / Let’s hit and run / Hit and run / Hit and run / Baby hit and run / Hit and run the world)
  7. I’m In Love with My Car (the M25) / You Can Be The Boss (He has a white Corvette like I want it / A fire in his eyes, no, I saw it / He’s bleeding from his brain and his wallet / He’s sick and he’s taken but he’s honest)
  8. We Will Rock You (Crowley’s airbase entrance) / Queen of Disaster (Got me spinning like a ballerina / Felling gangsta every time I see ya / You’re the king and, baby, I’m the queen of / Disaster, disaster)

BONUS:A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square /Lucky Ones(Everybody told me love was blind / Then I saw your face and you blew my mind / Finally you and me are the lucky ones this time)

@virgina-woolf Ooohohoho, an excellent question and I thought about it for a while. So, the place of ‘Queen of the Gas Station’ in Good Omens.

An obvious (and also pretty good imo) answer would be the one Queen song I forgot on the list - the instrumental brass band rendition of “Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon” in St James Park during the last episode BUT I’d like to propose it be a bit more angsty/gut-wrenching in application and use it as an alternative episode 3 title song, beginning to fade in maybe as early as during the Thermos scene, but swelling up proper definitely after Aziraphale’s “You go too fast for me, Crowley” and then carry over into the opening credits (kind of like it was supposed to happen with Buddy Holly’s 'Everyday’ in a longer ending shot of the scene, according to the script book)
