One Last Danzón: a buoyant glimpse into a community of elegant dance veterans that have, for the last 40 years, been gathering together in these historical Mexico City dance halls in honor of danzón, a mix of Cuban, African and European rhythm.

The ballrooms at Salon Los Angeles were in their most glamorous peak in the 1940s and 50s. Between these walls age seems to have lost its importance, or at least its negative perception, and gives way to the gusto the guests have and their many lives lived. Chiara Bonetti
