It was 20 years ago today: Laurie Anderson’s album Live in New York was released on Nonesuch Records. You can hear it again here.
On the album, Anderson surveyed 20 years of recorded material in concerts from September 12–20, 2001, at The Town Hall in New York City, joined by Skúli Sverrisson on bass and concertina, Jim Black on drums and electronic percussion, and Peter Scherer on keyboards and samplers.
