A more colourful expression of the original flavour Kueh Lapis Legit(印尼千层蛋糕)shownhere. This thousand layer cake from Swee Heng 1989 Signature cost just S$1.50 for two pieces. But there is a caveat, the more expensive Kueh Lapis Legit contained more butter in their batter but this cheap version don’t. So it lacked the characteristic buttery fragrant from their more expensive competitors which is the signature of this type of cake. Paired it off with a cup of less sweet milk tea with a sachet of ginger powder added.
Illness, bad weather, and travel made me wake up every morning these past couple weeks and say “hmm, yeah. Today is a sweatpants kind of day” Feeling chipper and ready to go to the park and get some work done

Good morning! ☀️ My son has now settled into daycare, and I’ve enjoyed a week of vegging out at home, working and enjoying the peace and quiet Glad the recycle shops are finally putting out spring/summer items!

Mama’s been a busy bee lately, getting my son prepared for nursery school starting in April! Consider this a belated St. Patrick’s Day coord, mori style ☘️ And oh hey, it’s the return of fox bag! Skirt is from earth, music, and ecology, the white top is Ray Beams, the green top is thrifted.

I love my new green cardigan - it looks and feels like moss! Every time I try to think of what to call my aesthetic, I keep coming back to the same phrase: “elegant swamp witch” Does that sum up my style well to you? Brown dress is axes femme, light green cardigan is SM2, everything else is thrifted.

Over the summer, I accidentally spilled bleach on this gray skirt that left a pink blotch I love this skirt so instead of throwing it away I added this flower decal to cover the splotch. I really like how it turned out! Top is axes femme, cardigan is earth, music, and ecology, everything else thrifted.
