#leafkerchief

Gosh, I haven’t posted anything in ages! I’ve mostly been working on repeating patterns for the past few weeks, but I don’t want to post them until my Spoonflower samples arrive and I can list them for sale there.
Here’s a leafkerchief I finished at the beginning of this month. I filmed the making of this (and two others) and will definitely get back to working on that video tutorial sometime or other..

The only other garment I’ve finished since then is a pair of beige flannel pyjama pants, which is a practical project but very boring.

I’m excited for my printed samples!! They should be here in a couple of weeks! I’ve made a couple new monster patterns, some with Cambrian era creatures, and a historical one.

I’m disguised as a dead leaf.

Finished the leaf veins yesterday and my hand is still a bit ouch, even though I spread it out over 3 days. I only did one side so it can be worn either way, and the plainer side looks just like an autumn version of the green one I made earlier this year.

I filmed the making of this one, but it’ll still be a while before the video tutorial is finished and up on youtube, since I want to make and film several more so I can try different methods of doing the veins.
