I’m really fucking disappointed in my timeline, tumblr and social media in general. A fantastic Marvel movie was released with a POC as the lead and a gorgeous homage to the Asian culture weaved into an embarrassment of visual riches and a solid story in Shang Chi. And in spite of it all Shang Chihas had little to no fanfare from where I’m standing. It wasn’t advertised nearly as much as previous movies and I’m not seeing the outpouring of love like we saw for even the TV show Loki. This is garbage.
Do better fandom.
It was another beautiful day and I was out with friends
for most of it. We were downtown and we were in Winters
browsing around (if you don’t know what Winters is its a
department store thats owned by TJ Maxx)
before leaving I went over to the small toy section
they have being I had some good finds every now and then
and I found her! they only had 2 of them so I grabbed one
She was a Target Exclusive I think but being we don’t
have Target anymore I ended up not getting her
so I was happy to see her there.
Also she was only $17 which I thought was a great price
being Marvel Legends are now $40! So at that price
I was happy I think Marvel Legends should only be
$20-25 not as much as they are now. So anyway it
was a good find today at least for me.
YOOOOO ABOMINATIONS IN SHANG CHI OF ALL MOVIES WTF????
Ok, Marvel has officially embraced their ability to crossover. Who would have EVER thought Abomination would cameo in a mystic martial arts movie? This is amazing! The more I see of this movie the more I want it tattooed on my eyeballs
