After Liberace died in 1987, his ornate and lavishly designed mansion in Las Vegas was sold and late

After Liberace died in 1987, his ornate and lavishly designed mansion in Las Vegas was sold and later foreclosed and abandoned. During this time its marble floored rooms remained empty, the fireplaces were dusted in soot, the remains of fires from long talks and nights filled with emotions. Today, the mansion is no longer abandoned but a true to its idol masterpiece and event center. However, let us remember the days where we were as empty as its halls once were.

“A Criminal Mind Wears Versace”

After another successful art heist at the ROM, the Criminal Mind takes a breather before evading security in his Black-Rhinestoned Rolls-Royce, driving off into the rainy, Torontonian night….

*****

Got the idea for A Criminal Mind to have a badass getaway car after watching Cruella with my dad a couple months back.

Collabed with Gowan on the make, model, and colour scheme for the car. (Based on Liberace’s famous Phantom V Limo)

Done in SketchBook over the past 3 weeks or so.

“Margaret Lindsay, who traveled around the country with lover Janet Gaynor and had comedienne Mary McCarty as a long-time lover, could not get parts in big-time movies despite her exceptional beauty because she refused "to play the game,” though she was romantically linked [by studio publicity department] to Dick Powell [stricly heterosexual] and dated [strictly homosexuals] Liberace and Cesar Romero with every assurance that they would not even ask for a goodnight kiss.“
