Hey!! uhhHHh it’s been a while! I’ve been playing a lot of Horizon Zero Dawn and well. If you wanna read my brainrot while making this, it’s below the cut. <3
Bonus:
Carja!Rachel - Felt this would be a pretty good fit! Carja folk are really into arts and ✨culture ✨, and I felt like she would fit in with them the most. Drew her as a noble here, but I 100% see her being a part of the Hunter’s Lodge (probably secretly too).
Oseram!Chloe - Y’know this whole thing kind of started forming in my brain because of that one Ashly Burch interview where someone asked if Chloe and Aloy would get along and she was like lol absolutely not Chloe is too much trouble for her, but she would probably get along with Petra (or “that one character who made the cannon”). So here she is, brash, loudmouthed, Oseram freebooter Chloe, currently residing in Free Heap. <3
Nora!Max - I had a tough time deciding if I wanted Max to be Carja or Nora because I could see her as both, but decided to go with Nora because it has main character vibes lmfao. She’s pretty good with a bow and arrow.
Also I thought about giving them HZD-esque names but I am not creative enough for that and would have ended up naming Chloe Chloara or smthg equally dumb. :(

So Chloe is currently Oseram, but then I thought: how would she have known Max? Wellll what if she was born and raised as a Nora and grew up with her best friend Max? But then she and her mother were outcast by the tribe in connection to a crime that also resulted in her father’s death? Then, instead of staying with her mother and her new (also outcast) step-douche, she said screw it and fled out of Nora lands for good?? Five years later she would end up rescuing a very familiar Nora wanderer from a pack of Scrappers…

Occasionally, Rachel will take up Hunter’s Lodge contracts near the East side of Carja territory. Maybe so she gets to see a certain Oseram from time to time, maybe not. Either way, Chloe really appreciates the visits. Petra Forgewoman, less so. (Come on Chloe, she’s had to tell you to get back to work like 6 times already).
