Hey friends, i’ll be streaming Life is Strange: True Colors on 10th Sept for 12 hours, if anyone wants to join :)
Our precious DnD nerd is back and looking better than ever!
While it’s confirmed that Steph will be a love interest for Alex. The little snippets of what we have seen of her leads me to think that Steph’s story will be a much bigger part of the game.
Let me explain…
In the deep dive video, we see Steph on a phone call. Her aura shows anger, intense enough that Alex is effected. If you look at her outfit, it’s the same as what she’s wearing when we first meet her. Indicating that, this is a link to something existing prior to Alex’s arrival.
The trailer also suggests that Steph has a lot of intense sadness. (Yes, it could be linked to Gabe, but I’m going to discuss this in my next post.) Steph is going to be the protagonist for Wavelengths, which is going to give us a ton of opportunity to learn more about her. Also if something is going on in Steph’s life that’s causing her extreme sadness, that will act as an obstacle when getting romantically involved with Alex, as the intensity of her emotions can affect Alex. It may also give some opportunity to get close to her on a personal level since Alex can understand why Steph feels the way she does if she really focuses.
And let’s be honest…they know we love Steph, so I’m expecting them to make us work for that relationship to happen.
Feel free to comment with your thoughts!
Life is Strange: True Colors (2021)
LIFE IS STRANGE - TRUE COLORS / Mental Health Day!
A month in since a great story has been told. What a Life is Strange journey it’s been
It was such an experience playing as Alex Chen, getting to know these emotions, how people cope with it, how people reconcile with themselves after all of it. The game has touched so many lives and it was such a great adventure of how strange life could be: one second it could tear you down, then after, you’ll get to see another morning, stand up, and move on. That’s just how deep it is.
As the games continue to flourish on its own unique story line, I started to realize Strange doesn’t really pertain to the supernatural. It’s been a great symbolism and imagery of how strange life really is for the living. We live, we die, but what matters most is the adventures within.
I could talk so much and build up an essay book about how this game has changed my life, how this game made me more sensitive to people, and understand them more. I could geek a lot about the writing this game has, the depth of the story, and the family I built around the fandom with this. As much as this game meant wonderful to me, this is a great way to celebrate Mental Health Day too
