Got inspired by the folks over at The Star Wars Underworld and their latest podcast of them discussing the recent Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer.
They talked about (in the 1 hour mark btw) how the Inquisitors and their job in hunting down remaining Jedi us basically glorified Pokemon GO. So their banter inspired me to create this piece.
Move over, coffee shop AU! Bar AU is where it’s at!
Made up for the AU prompt for @asobaroweek This is an AU where Kazuma, a stressed-out prosecutor, stumbles across a hidden cocktail bar and meets Barok (BARok? Get it?!), a mysterious yet handsome bartender who creates amazing cocktails for his guests. The bar became Kazuma’s go-to place…and eventually he falls head-over-heels for Barok.
I was inspired to do a Pokemon trainer Aurora and what Pokemon she would possibly have. Aurora’s outfit is a modified version of her party outfit and a little touch of the headband that Amy wears in Sonic Adventure, such a cute touch. Pokemon with her are the Legendary Pokemon Suicune and the Mythical Pokemon Shayimin, Starer Pokemon Chespin, Fossil Pokemon Amaura, and Shiny Togedemaru.
Suicune is known as the Aurora Pokemon I thought it would be appropriate she’d have one. Amaura it’s head frills are similar to the aurora borealis. Chespin, Togedemaru, and Shaymin are hedgehog like Pokemon and thought it be appropriate.
Super-Robot and Ultraman inspired redesigns of the Silver SurferandGalactus, with robot minions in tow!
A while back, Marvel Comics did this thing called the “Manga-verse” with anime-inspired versions of the characters. It was hit or Miss with some versions, but I wasn’t pleased with their Galactus, who they made a giant world- eating eyeball!. So I made my own version of how I would have designed him and the Surfer! I feel dumb for not posting this sooner!
