I thought I’d try my hand at designing Link and Zelda! I think I might do an outfit-design post someday, but for now, here are their portraits. I like the headcanon of Link having blue eyes while Zelda has green – it’s the reverse of their Triforce colours, and it shows, as somebody once pointed out, that they have eyes for each other XDD
They both appear to have the same colour hair, but that’s only because I used the same colour palette for them both, so I had to use the colours somehow hahaa But just as a note, I imagine Zelda’s hair to be a more bright gold than Link’s. I also tried to merge all her hair colours from the games into a sort of red-golden-brown … Let’s just say that it’s due to light at a certain angle loll
Also, it’s a bit hard to see, but I elaborated a bit on Link’s earrings! For this design, I imagined that he has a blue earring with a blue jewel attached to it – maybe a small sapphire, or lapis lazuli, something like that? – that Zelda gifted him. He’d wear it during ceremonial stuff, or whenever they’re spending time together. At other times, like travelling or fighting, he wears the canon earrings XDD

Link and Zelda from Breath of the Wild 2! I drew Zelda in a white robe to match Link’s new green one; white, because she wears a white dress in the first game, but I added a hint of blue in there too XDD
