One thing I’ve been thinking about a lot recently with Liz and Patty is their relationship to one another, like they clearly love each other as sisters but I’ve been imagining that it’s also been borne out of a historical dependence on one another

Like in their flashback Liz highlights how powerful they felt being born as weapons, and I’m sure growing up as literal guns, especially somewhere like Brooklyn, was extremely powerful, but then they completely needed one another to be able to wield that power. If anything happened to, say, Patty, Liz would suddenly be impotent and a lot less threatening because she doesn’t have a gun to point at people much less have anyone to point her at anyone, and I’m sure they were both acutely aware of that as young girls trying to be thugs on the street. 

And I’m not trying to say this at all to undermine their love for one another because if anything it makes it so much deeper - they needed each other more than anything in the world and would likely have died without one another. Idk don’t touch me i’m emotional
