Summer’s End
Finally uploading this after a long delay. I had intended to upload it sooner, but I had decided I no longer liked the exterior and improved upon it a bit (imo, anyways ). Feel free to change the colours back to the originals if you like the way it looked previously.
I named it Summer’s End because, at the time, it gave me the feeling the tail end of summer gives you. Almost a sad, nostalgic quiet when activities tend to wind down as kids get ready to return to school and the weather starts to become mild.

Buttercup Cottage
Another preview of the overgrown cottage build I’m working on. I really want to make this available for download once I’m finished but I don’t know if anyone would use it.
I hope everyone is enjoying the new pack! One of the things I worked on leading up to the release was a wallpaper set.
After seeing what was included in CL I felt a little disappointed with the new walls so I took it upon myself to create some quaint wallpapers for your lovely cottages. There’s a mix of modern and vintage wallpapers with some Scandinavian influence as well as some traditional styles as well.

This set contains two files: one for wallpaper with wainscoting and with a bottom baseboard. There’s 6 swatches of painted wainscoting/baseboard to choose from (green, light blue, navy blue, grey, black, and white) with 44 wallpaper swatches.
This set is base game compatible.

Hello! (❁´◡`❁)
I’ve been so stoked for the new pack and I know a lot of you are too! I’ve been working on a couple of small projects in the meantime to make the days go by faster, and one of those projects are these hydrangeas that I recoloured from base game. Hydrangeas are one of my absolute favourite flowers and I found that the ones in the game were so lackluster and flat. I based all the swatches off of real flowers and I hope it adds some beauty to your (soon to be) cottage gardens.

There are 34 swatches in a variety of colours and combinations. I didn’t do a stark white swatch as that’s already included in bg and I didn’t see the need to improve upon it.
As stated above, this is base game compatible :).

Sheer Curtain Recolour
Recoloured this base game curtain a while back and decided to share it now. Inspired by the Danish-modern textile trends I’ve seen with pretty florals and patterns in a combination of bright colours and neon pastels. There’s 32 swatches total, half with a white rod and half with wood. *Note: not all swatches shown here.

Better Lavender Bush
There’s a list of things that irk me about this game. One of those things is that none of the “lavender” really looks anything like lavender. They are just chunky purple plants that they suggest are lavender. Maybe we are supposed to squint. However, digging around in debug I found this bush. Clearly another lavender type plant but the shape is waaaay closer to actual lavender than the ones we were given. It still looked pretty obnoxious so I took it upon myself to improve it.
I toned down the colours as they were pretty saturated, and tweaked the balance of green/purple. There are two swatches, one is darker and more vibrant and the second is inspired by grey lavender. I also removed the shadow that looms beneath it as it doesn’t look so hot when it’s scaled down.
I’ve brought it out of debug but it still costs $0 because nobody should have to pay for plants. It is in shrubs and flowers in the build catalog. You’ll want to scale it down a bit as this bush is kinda huge otherwise. It is also base game compatible!
Lavender is my favourite plant and I needed some for my builds so I could feel complete. Hopefully it completes you as well.

Urban Outfitters/Ikea Inspired Double Bed
All done! I ended up completely remaking my textures and added a bunch more swatches than I had originally. The sheets are inspired by these reversable colour blocking Urban Outfitters sheets I saw like a year ago on Pinterest . The bed frame is Ikea inspired. There’s 20 swatches in total, 10 with a white bed frame and 10 with a birch bed frame. If the bedding swatches are not your style I threw in a nice crisp plain white swatch as well, super minimalist. Not all are pictured here as I couldn’t be assed to take screenshots of them all lol.

Summer’s End

Build inspired by the final straggling, sleepy days of summer that make you feel sad and nostalgic of the months that have passed. The summer heat still clings to the air but the nights are cooler and shorter where autumn finds it’s way through. Leaves start to turn and blanket sidewalks and porches. Reality feels altered somewhat.
I was looking forward to maybe sharing this build (and others as well) with you guys, however with the latest patch it doesn’t really make sense considering I use pretty much exclusively cc windows and doors . So while I wait for updates and hopefully a fix, I will just share pictures and work on my upcoming cottagecore recolour set. I hope everyone is doing well and in good health.
