Believe it or not, this piece took me nearly a YEAR to finish. I started it back on 3/14/2021 but found myself unable to work on it after I had to make the heartbreaking choice to have my dog let go. The song itself was the last tune I sang to my Golden pup as I let her go. As such, it took a long time to bring myself to come back to this one and finish it. As such, there is a difference between the first and second images, as the final part of the drawing was done this year.
The song chosen is “If I had Words” lyrics by Jonathan Hodge to the infamous Organ portion of Saint Saëns Symphony No. 3 commonly referred to as “The Organ Symphony”.
While the tune itself is referred to earlier in the lengthy Symphony, it doesn’t take center stage until the Organ herself wakes. If you’ve never heard the piece I highly recommend looking it up and giving it a listen. You will know once the Organ decides to join in.

Benny putting his little friend (later sister) to bed after a night of playing. While he started out really large and warped, over time he shrank down getting smaller and smaller as he was remembering who he once was. He himself remembering that he was once a child like her and that his current appearance isn’t desirable anymore. She was helping him remember who he really was, along with healing some of the pain and loneliness he endured.
This came out great! I love your use of color, shading, and light. It’s very atmospheric. Benny is such a good big brother.
Hey guys!! This is my first remus fan art ever… surprisingly hehehe. I’m so happy bout it and I hope you guys enjoy! This took about 1h 45m, so it looks pretty rough, but in my opinion, i think that’s what makes it so much better.
