I’ve been writing silly little drabbles about Lisa x Lucius since I’ve been thinking about their new lore NONSTOP so here’s the complilation… there is definitely more chapters coming too…
Top ten things I want to see in Black Clover’s final arc
Nobody asked for this but I’m SO excited to see where this arc goes but also. A little scared and unsure of WHERE it’s going to go. But here’s ten things I would like to see happen or be included, but of course this isn’t like a formal “prediction” or anything.
PLEASE send me asks about your predictions/hopes for this arc as well as any thoughts on my list. I am rolling around on the floor full of ideas rn.

10. The involvement of the Diamond Kingdom
The last we heard of the DK, it had been decimated by Zenon and the Spade Kingdom! I am so curious to see what happened to Mars and the rest, and would love to see the King of the DK for once. Maybe they will end up helping out Asta and the gang when they go up against Lucius.
9. The return of the Dark Triad
Well.. I guess they are a “tetrad” now. I hope Lucius has a plan to bring them back in some fashion, and I think this is likely based on their “undying body” plan. They may already HAVE undying bodies, so after the dust settles they may re-emerge!
8. Return of the elves/Elysia!
The elves had very little to do last arc so I want to see them back and relevant again. We also REALLY need more info about Elysia and the Dryad, because they were shown for 2 seconds and then never addressed again!
7. A proper explanation about… THAT
How did Lucius get in Julius’s body? Does Lucius=Julius? Or is it a Patri/William situation? Is Julius a fake soul that had a mind of its own? What was the point of the swallowtail? How can Julius be Lucius if the Novachrono’s are a noble family with a traceable bloodline? Does Julius=Astaroth? Did Astaroth make a contract with Lucius and THEN bodysnatch Julius? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON-
6. An “insurrection” or “banishment” storyline
I would love it if Lucius retained his position as Wizard King for his evil plan, then banishes or attempts to capture the heros. That way they would have to escape to another kingdom, or even to a country we haven’t seen yet. This would be a great way to bring in the Diamond Kingdom!
5. The Earth Spirit
I would just like to see it. I’m sure it will be coming in this next arc! I’m so excited to see if it is contracted with a new character or with one of the characters that we already know. I feel like Mars might be a good pick, but maybe it is partnered with the Diamond King… I just think that would be neat.
4. Dwarves
Are they still around?? Where are they??? Will they ever be relevant other than Charmy? I hope so… I would like to see the main characters team up with them, maybe to hide from Lucius and plan their counterattack.

… just save Julius I don’t care if he’s stripped of his power at the end and gives his title to Asta or Yuno. I just want him safe. I feel like there’s good evidence that he was never a bad guy, just a victim of the whole Lucius/Astaroth situation, so I can only hope that he comes out the other side of this series alive and well.

I think ‘Julius’ never really existed in a way. I think he was a soul created by Lucius in order to conceal himself during this plan.
Yes, I think Lucius has Soul Magic, to finish up the picture Body, Blood & Bones do with a… well body. The other option would be Mind Magic, but somehow that doesn’t seem to go as well.
But I also think he was a honest and good (somewhat, I still have issues with SOME of his decisions, although that might have been Lucius’ influence) person, who, if he’s still alive somehow (doubtful, but Tabata has thrown curveballs at us before) is probably horrified of what’s about to happen.
It feels… sad that he was probably created to help bring about chaos onto a Kingdom he was willing to give his life to save A bit pityfull really.
I’ll admit that Black Clover has been rather disappointing for a long time now (to me) - but you have to give Tabata this twist:
It doesn’t change my disappointment with the Spade Arc as a whole (I had my fair share of issues with the writing and characters throughout), but certainly raises my interest for the final arc once again.
Admittedly, I’ve never been a fan of the evil-Julius theories, especially since we have been in Julius’ head before, so it didn’t make much sense. But reading the newest chapter, it’s obvious that the situation isn’t as simple as “Julius is evil”:
