My super long rant about the fandom’s thoughts on chapter 330
(sighs) so Lately on Twitter and YouTube probably Reddit and Discord people are very angry or just very upset over the recent chapter and I’m not entirely sure why I know why they’re angry it’s just I find it quite irritating to me that people are acting this way frankly I find it pathetic and sad more than anything I find it frustrating because to me this chapter was more than a chapter it was like a message no a promise and what is it that I’m speaking of??? it’s not Adramelech or because of Charlotte (because frankly I don’t care about Charlotte I find her quite annoying) no it wasn’t that or anything like that let me first explain to you what the chapter actually was the chapter wasn’t supposed to be this fake out death or power of friendship bull crap it wasn’t supposed to be that it was supposed to be a breath of fresh air after all the hardships that the characters had to go through with that one fight it was supposed to make you feel happy warm inside and for me it delivered at the end that is and that’s what they were going for see whether you hated the chapter or liked it isn’t my concern I don’t even care if you are indifference towards it but to me I just don’t understand why everyone is blaming one person when it wasn’t her fault at all of course it was her magic but it wasn’t her fault not even close. and people who don’t blame her blame the person at fault either blame her as well or is a small portion of the fandom obviously I’m talking about Mimosa and Charmy Mimosa isn’t responsible Charmy is why? why don’t people get that I don’t understand and it was also Vanessa but everyone’s blaming Mimosa when it wasn’t her fault but anyways now for the reason why I say it was like a promise
you see I suffer from depression so I know what it’s like to be suicidal and what it’s like to want to die so the way Yuki Tabata writed a character who is suicidal feels so real it’s almost scary but the promise that I’m talking about is that even if you hate yourself even if you despise yourself even if you can’t look at yourself in the mirror even if you have nowhere to go even if you have a place to go but you feel like you don’t belong there things will get better you do belong there you do belong with people you’re not some type of freak you’re just you everyone has a home and it’s time you come back to it and even if you never can forgive yourself there will be a time where the people around you tell you that even if you can’t forgive yourself even if we can’t forgive you we will always be here beside you through thick and thin that’s what this chapter meant to me a promise that even though I hate myself even though I can’t look at myself even though I feel like I don’t belong life will get better for me and it’s not for the badass fights that I read black clover it’s for the emotional moments that make me feel like I’m human when I feel like I’m a mistake or freak but slowly by slowly Nacht is healing it isn’t going to take a year it isn’t going to take overnight but he will get better and someday so will I that’s what this chapter meant to me what does the chapter mean to you because I would love to hear it and tell you that you didn’t understand the chapter and if you did you didn’t understand it quite as good as I did because nobody’s talking about it nobody’s talking about the ending nobody cares and it hurts but even so there are some people who say things I don’t mind there are people who even if they’re disappointed they’re gonna continue reading it and they’re not gonna lie they’re not gonna lie to themselves they’re going to be true to themselves and gonna be honest I respect people like that obviously not all of them but I do respect them there was even this one YouTuber who said that this happened in the past generation so it gave me hope that even though things seem bleak now it will get better and I can’t wait to see when black clover is trending on Twitter and people who are right now saying that it’s bad will say that it’s one of the best no is the best new generation shonen and I’m gonna continue it I’m not gonna quit on it because why would I it’s my favorite time of the week getting my weekly spoilers losing my mind over the characters I love I’m obsessed with it
