“We’ve been recommended to apparate to a nearby park in Islington.” Lucius said after a small cough. He wasn’t looking at her when she finally raised her eyes from herself.
“Oh.” Hermione shrugged, feeling a flush coming on. “I was curious about the new wards. I haven’t been to Grimmauld Place since last fall— and that was only to apparition hop.”
“I haven’t been to Grimmauld Place since 1977.”
There wasn’t much to say to that. Lucius cleared his throat.
“Should we side-along then?” Hermione asked.

Four linear leaves curved upward, with two racemes of purple flowers. “Hyacinth,” Draco whispered. “Means ‘Forgive me; clean slate’.” The ribbon tied to the left, showed that the message applied to the sender and not the receiver—this meant that Potter wasn’t asking for forgiveness but was giving it. A clean slate.
