I really like the scene where Enishi read Tomoe’s diary and cry like a child. It expresses his essential childish and pureness.

I think Mackenyu’s acting was perfect. It was a wonderful discovery equivalent to Kenshin played by Takeru Satoh.

Surely will watch if they remake it into a Japanese drama

I present a dream cast of the Japanese version:

Suzu Hirose as Seo Dal-Mi

Yui Aragaki as Won In-Jae

Mackenyu Arata as Nam Do-San

Tomohisa Yamashita as Han Ji-Pyeong

A lot of people’s critique of Rurouni Kenshin: The Final makes mention of the part in the manga where Enishi fakes Kaoru’s death, which causes Kenshin to shut down, being adapted out as something unfortunate, but in my opinion? I’m glad that it wasn’t adapted, because it kind of already happened back in Kyoto Inferno/The Legend Ends and in turn, I don’t want to see something like that yet again.

Of course, I still respect those who gave that critique’s opinion, though!
