I’m thinking about adding some elastic-waist skirts to the shop, to wear on their own or underneath the dresses. I was going to ask which type of waistband you prefer, but it turns out that the nice frilly elastic has been discontinued. Next question… do I go for organic cotton elastic at £1.80 a metre… or nylon made-in-china elastic at 36p?! I really want to choose organic, but I’m afraid it’ll bump the price of the skirts so high that nobody will buy them.

One of my favourite things about the @conferenceofcorsetry is meeting other #corsetmakers, fangirling over each others work and trying on lots of corsets ♡ It turns out that Kitty and are “body doubles” and fitted each others corsets remarkably well (you’ll have to wait and see what I tried on….its colourful!) ♡ Kitty is wearing the #VanyanisRubyCorset in an OTR size 26.
