This was actually one of my very first Etsy purchases which arrived first yesterday. Etsy is wonderful; I got a notification right after the package arrived in my mail box!! I lost my package the other day and I was very anxious, so I was so moved by this little thing which happened to me.
The package was so lovely, the butterfly is not just a print or stamp, but it’s cut out from a paper and glued!
The necklace was in a green tin can with a handwriting thank you memo.
This is 40′s vintage Bakelite inspired necklace. I don’t mind to won reproduces or something inspired by the vintage goods as long as it is in a fantastic quality. And this is one which is amazing, definitely eye catching and great for summer!!

This is the doll my mom has been working on! It’s inspired by Spirited Away. Each one takes her a week to make (around 30 hours spread out). She puts so much love into making these dolls. Please check out her Etsy shop :)

A kåsa (aka guksi, aka kuksa) is usually made in wood, from a birch tree burl. They are traditionally crafted by the Sami people (duodji) and often beautifully adorned with patterns and reindeer antler inlays. The are very common over here and you’ll find ones in plastic too. Perfect for fika break while on a hike. That was my inspiration for these.

Every single piece are hand stitched using natural cotton, hand painted with watercolors and natural coffee dye, dressed in delicate vintage and antique fabrics collected by Anouk herself from local thrift stores and markets with final touch up of embroidery.

When I was a child, my life wasn’t that smooth and easy. I was born with severe asthma, I could rarely go to school, I wasn’t healthy enough to leave my bedroom. Having to stay at home with no friends, gradually draw me to live in my own imaginary world. I either read a lot of mystical stories and fairy tales or watched Pan’s Labyrinth, FairyTale: A True Story, A Little Princess, The Secret Garden repetitively day after day. Yes, I had these magical creatures created in my mind as companions. Though my body was suffering from the symptom but my mind was in harmony.
Throughout time, I lost touches of these feelings that I have left behind as I grew older, until the day I came across collection of dolls from Pantovola, every bit of magical memory are recoiling and becoming even more solid, specially when I got my hands on Hettie the hare by Anouk de Groot. I was totally enchanted.
