This is a magical girl based on a wish to make people feel better and smile. They summon different magical pills: medicine, smoke bombs, ability boosters, and more. I designed this character as a representation of myself for the Magia Record zine Shared Destinies

To me, Homura is the heart of Madoka Magica. She has a really tough time as a magical girl and encounters countless obstacles in her path, but she keeps on fighting for the person she loves. Even if she ends up becoming someone else to do it. It’s beautiful and bittersweet, which I tried to convey in this drawing.

For today’s prompt I decided to do a portrait of Mifuyu. I thought it would be cool to have the wings of the magius symbol on the sleeve of a hoodie sorta reminiscent of her magical girl outfit, kinda like a street clothes version

My favorite light type Magia Record character is Oriko, she’s a bit twisted but really compelling. I think she looks a little like the tarot card The High Priestess here
