Starting life as a Marvel horror comic naked Tower of Shadows, Marvel’s Creatures on the Loose actually was not a creature magazine. It mostly featured Sword and Sorcery comics like King Kull (before he got his own magazine), Lin Carter’s Thongor pastiches, and Man-Wolf (a scifi, not a monster, strip).
