as i end another semester of remote college bullshittery with the overwhelming suspicion that the moment of respite after submitting my last final will not be worth the drudgery of now, the angrier i get about mari’s departure from smosh. i’m getting pouty about my own stupid lack of recognition but she was a part of smosh for YEARS, she paved the way for SO MANY PEOPLE in the gaming industry, she helped BUILD THE SMOSH GAMES COMMUNITY and GAIN THAT VIEWERSHIP, and she still felt bad about wanting a goodbye tweet?????? she had to deal with the fact that the channel she grew up on gave her an ultimatum bc she wanted to have a side project with her friends, and she had to deal with that alone???? after everything she’s done for the channel, for the viewers, for the brand????????? piss off, mari deserves SO much better and tbh i’m fuckin glad she escaped that environment. anyway watch coyote sunset
