I’ve watched “Black Panter”. It was very good: characters are strong, jokes funny, Vakanda setting is wonderful - interesting and beautiful.

“Firearm, how primitive!“- said Okoye and frow a spear.

Chris Evans is many things.

He is Captain America. He’s a Bostonian through-and-through. He’s classified as a bonafide dog lover, and now, fans know he’s also too precious for words.

In a recent tweet, Chris Evans shared a photo of an old internship cover letter he sent out to various theaters in New York City during 1998. At just 16, Chris Evans was hustling his acting game and on his way to become the block-busting actor which fans have come to love.

I mean, just look at thisletter:

Like, he misspelled ‘Strasberg,’ but this letter is so dang pure that I don’t even want to sic the typo???

Chris later tweeted that the cover letter did its job as he was offered an unspecified internship somewhere, so good on your nameless casting director! The letters were also apparently sent along with a hilariously embarrassing headshot and resume which the world would surely love to see.

Chris, who is known for his humble heart and ‘lumberjack’ muscles, was cast as Captain America following a series of minor roles in films and television. The actor initially turned the hero’s role down due to the contract commitment required by Marvel Studios, but as we all know today, the world is better for having Chris Evans suit up as Captain America.

And, as fans can now see, even the biggest of heroes had to start somewhere.

Even Chris Evans.

Though Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther film is still a few years out from release, Michael B. Jordan’s latest statements have now thrown fans into a tizzy as they wait to see Wakanda’s hero in action.

Rumors have been swirling that Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong’o would be attached to the upcoming films, and in a recent interview, Michael confirmed his casting through an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

He said, “I’m super excited, especially to put a different spin on it. I’m looking forward to working with Ryan [Coogler] once again. It’s gonna be a good time. I can’t wait to work with Lupita Nyong’o and Chadwick Boseman.”

If taken for his word, it looks like Lupita has also joined Black Panther’s growing cast following her critically acclaimed work in 12 Years A SlaveandStar Wars: The Force Awakens

While there is no word on which roles Michael or Lupita will be carrying, fans are already speculating whether Lupita will act as a love interest for Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa following his appearance in Captain America: Civil War.

As for Michael, he is not the first actor swap superhero spandex by working with new film studios. Like the Human Torch before him, Chris Evans also worked with Fox for two Fantastic Four films before being recruited by Marvel to play Captain America.

Following a panel at Wizard World Philadelphia, fans are speculating whether Sebastian Stan might find himself starring in Marvel’s upcoming Black Pantherfilm.

When asked which Marvel film Sebastian would like to see the Winter Soldier in next, both Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie warned Sebastian to choose his words carefully as they might seal a cameo spot for him.

However, Marvel is well-known for keeping their casting process under wraps, so Sebastian answered carefully by saying“I don’t know, man. I mean, there’s obviously a very clear answer but I’m not maybe say it. Where did he end up at the end of the movie? That’s the movie he should be in.”

Spoilers! For Civil War fans, the film leaves off with Bucky Barnes (Winter Solider) returning voluntarily to cryostasis in Wakanda to protect himself the others from his killer instincts. Fans were vocal about the unexpected decision, but perhaps having Bucky return in the upcoming Black Panther film may soothe their disgruntled complaints.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther is set to be released February 2018.

Comics are complicated, and their romances are perhaps even more so.

While famous comic couples like Mr. Fantastic & The Invisible Woman have become integral to their superhero origins, Avenger all-stars like Captain America have only recently become recognized for their wooing ways.

Peggy Carter, played by Hayley Atwell, was first introduced to audiences as Captain America’s love interest for CA: The First Avenger. However, after multiple film cameos and a standalone TV series under her heels, Peggy has become a bonafide heroine amongst Marvel’s stacked roster of superheroes.

And, unsurprisingly, she’s none too happy about Captain America’s latest love interest, Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp). Oh, let’s not also forget that Sharon is Peggy’s GREAT-NIECE!

In a recent article by IGN, Hayley Atwell was quoted saying what many fans were already thinking by confirming her belief that Peggy would not approve of the budding fling:

“Well, first of all she’d be turning over in her grave. She’d be like “no.” And she’d inject herself with the blue serum and become a super villain. She’d break out of her coffin and ground [Sharon]. She’d ground her. Then she’d kick Steve’s ass as well.I just feel that, you know–I wouldn’t want to date my great aunt’s guy. It just feels like it crosses an incestuous boundary. And Peggy just died. That’s even more disrespectful, right? It’s like, “don’t touch that.” You can’t tap that!

It seems whether Peggy is alive or not, she’s still calling some shots when it comes to Sharon’s love-life. While Sharon’s relationship with Captain America is more thoroughly explored in the comics (as all things are!), fans of Marvel’s films were left bewildered by the sudden romance between the two characters in CA: Civil War

Though the MCU has hosted several complimentary couples (Tony x Pepper 4eva), the UST felt deflated between Sharon and Captain America. And, if Peggy has anything to say, the relationship may never get her seal of approval.

Ah, X-Men. Oh, Avengers! What stacked teams, man. Now, just imagine if they joined forces?

For comic fans, their imaginations wouldn’t have to stretch far. However, for fans of Fox’s X-Men films or Marvel’s mega-MCU, there has been absolutely no overlap to wet curious minds. With so much complicated red tape preventing certain superheroes from jumping on-screen with various studios, the MCU has sorely lacked the presence of Marvel’s (arguably) most successful team, the X-Men.

And, with X-Men ApocalypseandCaptain America: Civil War sitting well with fans, it seems like some actors would like to shake up their universes and pitch in for one ultimate crossover.

At a panel during Wizard World Philadelphia, several star players for the MCU spoke about their desire to see the X-Men join the MCU. Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, and Anthony Mackie gushed about their fanboy tendencies and said they’d like to work with Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), and Halle Berry (Storm) respectively.

While the logistics of such a crossover would require a fleet of lawyers to organize, the dream is not impossible. With Sony recently lending their rights to Spiderman back to Marvel for Captain America: Civil War, fans are hopeful that a truce may be called and that the MCU’s ‘miracles’ might become ‘mutants’ sooner rather than later.
